Morning everyone, 4.7 today, stay well .
Morning All. 6.2 at 0800. Fasted through choice yesterday no appetite so think I am fighting some sort of bug.....felt exhausted and out of sorts....would explain staying high all day last few days.
@DJC3 sorry your chimney leak stillnot fixed. My roofer turned up suddenly start of week and said he would do one third of the job the bit he thinks most likely to be cause. However water still trickling into the bowl....hope yours turns up before Xmas.
@ianpspurs have a safe and good journey to Southampton.
Have a good Thursday everyone. Stay safe well and hypo free.
Take care and have a good rest if you can today PM I know it’s not easy though to take time out at this time of year. XMorning All. 6.2 at 0800. Your levels sound good to me Roulis. Well done and enjoy your holiday.Morning everyone! Hope you're all good! 1 more day at work, and after that.. Happy Time!!
6.3 this morning. It seems that the morning levels are hovering between 6.1 to 6.3. And yet the levels I am seeing before meals and after meals are hovering between 5.4-5.6 before meal (with the occasional 4.7 if I don eat in between breakfast and evening diner) and 5.7 to 6.00 after meals. An overall daily average level of 5.9 . Are there any tricks that I am missing which could help in reducing the morning Levels? Or it is just the way it is? Best wishes to everyone! Theo
@DJC3 at least our leak is into the loft above the extension..my husband can just about squeeze into the space lol. Good luck with yours...I think every roofer everywhere is super busy mine said he had 17 more calls like mine. Thanks for the kind wishes and also thanks @shelley262 for yours. Today not too bad. I have a mamogram in Tesco car park soon (if I can bear it..I have turned up everytime since 50 but usually find it too painful to go through with it but this year because of my dear friend I am going to try harder). I need to be well by weekend as said friend coming to us for Christmas and cant expose her to any risk. She has been through so much already.
Your figures are good even with DP. My pre-meal readings are similar to yours, usually between 4.6 - 5.6, and unless I have a highly carby evening meal my post meal reading is usually well below 8. But my fbgs are around 6.3 - 6.4.Are there any tricks that I am missing which could help in reducing the morning Levels? Or it is just the way it is?
From my experience you are doing bloody well! ( I dont know if that word is allowed on this thread, apologies if its not!).Morning everyone! Hope you're all good! 1 more day at work, and after that.. Happy Time!!

Hi there. Thank you for your reply! I'll give the nuts and a piece of cheese a go and see whether there is any change? Perhaps my expectations are too high! It is what it is. Thanks again for sharing your experiences! Best Wishes! TheoYour figures are good even with DP. I don't worry about the occasional fbg readings over 7, unless they are for a prolonged period.
I don't think there is much you can do about it. Some find a small protein snack, like a handful of nuts or a piece of cheese, before you go to bed can 'block' the liver dump, but that doesn't work for me.
Eating your evening meal earlier might reduce it too.
