What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning all on yet another mildish morning here in the Northeast, guess who is a bit of a daft sod?? who forgot to take their pump off "suspend" all night? If you have guessed that it was me then you are right, a startling 16.9 greeted me this morning!! imagine my surprise when those red figures flashed before my sleepy peepers! Took some figuring out too! (well it didn't really, just had to look at the pump!) So full set change and back on my merry way to work, with a hop, skip and who am I kidding, I dragged myself to work but at least I have a switched on pump!

Take care everyone.

I’m amazed at this - over 10yrs ago, what are they thinking? Well done Mrs jj must have been a bit daunting though Certainly not in the public interest.

Good morning folks, 5.9 on the testing dice today, off work today to take granddaughter for an interview at Kingston uni, then on to sister in laws in Poole for the night and on to Winchester uni for an interview on Saturday, fun fun I love a road trip. Currently planning Pacific coast highway hols for August, a last big splurge before she goes away to uni and everything changes, she is such great company we will miss her immensely.

There’s no way I’d have resisted that either, good fbg though.

My pump will beep every few minutes if I stop it.

Mine does, but I slept with ear plugs in last night in the spare room so I didn't hear it. I only suspended it as I took it off whilst I did some stretches and it gets in the way whilst I did them put back on and promptly forgot about it. Lesson learned just leave it switched on so don't do it again (but we all know I will)

Morning all, single figures greeted me today again (just) - 9.9.

I still feel terribly sick and shaky every time I get to a 7 - hoping this will stop the more frequent I get this number.

Off to the consultant this morning so I may finally get a proper diagnosis!

Have a lovely day everyone

Good luck SB.

Good morning everyone,

Blood sugar is 8.3 this morning, which is a bit better. Slept well last night for the first time in ages. Back is easing too, long way to go yet, but at least I feel like I am on the mend. Thank you all for such lovely messages yesterday, they made me smile, you are all very kind. Kind people always make one feel better.

Taking it easy today, reading and writing stuff to do, but I can do that propped up on my bed with a hot water bottle. I have just bought a Macbook Air which is perfect for horizontal studying!

Have a lovely Friday, beautiful day here.
