What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hello folks. Been having a break for a bit because I was getting way too intense and stressy about the numbers, spending way too much time on the computer and worrying way too much about life in general, diabetes included. Back on track now - FBG 5.6 this morning.
 
I was 4.9 this morning. Only just started testing. Third day! I am on 2000mg metformin. Last hba1c was 56mmol. Diagnosed 96mmol in Jan. After the 56mmol result was put on Jardiance 10mg, but didn’t like it. Came off it after 10 days and lowered carbs further and have a meter after taking advice on here. Wish I’d joined earlier.
