What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.5 again this morning. @PenguinMum i feel you pain when that happens but could it be our livers dumping an excess amount of glucose in the morning on top of the DP expecting another day of exercise and needing the energy . Just a though. First day of school runs start today Where has that summer gone. No more lie-ins but on a plus more morning walks if not in work. Enjoy the day folks

Morning all. 8.9 bedtime and 7.5 at 5am. Thank you @BrianDoc. Yep, stress is something very hard to control. I'm so very sorry for your loss, I know how it turns your world upside down. 18 months after it happened, I am still finding it extremely hard to come to terms with it.

Good morning. Happy Friday!

BGL fingerprick 5.8 Libre 6.4. Fingerprick it is!

Don’t think i’ll see another 5s FBG for awhile. Off on a cruise tommorrow!

5.4 this morning. This morning I found my old glucose tester that had gone missing a couple of weeks ago - my glucose testers usually live on top of a "spare" under counter freezer - the meter was right in the bottom of the freezer drawer alongside OHs ice creams - Hmm... can I blame him perhaps ;) Its a poorly little glucose tester at present and I'm not sure it will recover, came out with an 8.8 on test but it was still very cold - I'm allowing it to come slowing up to room temperature to see if that helps but have my doubts.

To all going on a break, @RoughcutAU hope you really enjoy your cruise. @PenguinMum hope the weather stays good for your weekend break just forget about FBGs for a couple of day.. @BrianDoc and your "regular" weekend fishing trip - is that sea or river? Hope there are plenty of fish to jump onto your line. Have a great time folks. :)
