Too many to list here . . .
7.7 - Bed 9.1, so a reasonable drop. However, during yesterday and after some dark rye bread carbs and NO Metformin, I spiked an outrageous 14.1 - WOACHA! And yet, thankfully after 2 hours, and Metformin, 9.1. Looks I’m on Metformin for the foreseeable.

Oooh, Wet Wednesday.

Morning all... Well that was a weird night!!!
BG between 94 (5.2) and 90 (5) at bedtime …then dropped fast to 69 (3.8), alarm level on Libre3 and stayed at that level for 4 hours 68-71 (3.9) …. I ate ½ a chocolate hobknob to raise level, but it did nothing at all!......Stayed flatish for 4 hours and then jumped up when I woke at 06.00 to 89 (5.0)

Woke at 06.00…. showered then did tests. Libre3 87(4.8)…Vivachek 6.0… That is a 2.6 or 1.2 discrepancy!
Really want to lose weight at the moment so 20 hour fasting, but last 2 weeks only lost 1.5kg. I have a once a year foody extravaganza this weekend, so banking lots of low carb levels! Seeing a specialist this afternoon, so will find out what I am doing right and doing wrong.
I said it gets weird at times didn't I.

I consumed more carbohydrates yesterday (approx 60 g total and 30 net) plus a decent amount of protein (67 g) and fat (lots!!) - but I guess I confounded things by finishing my two meals for the day just after 1pm.

So my numbers shifted in a more ketogenic direction rather than the opposite I was expecting.
Glucose 3.9 Ketones 3.1 at 7 am. 18 hours fasted.

I guess this shows the potential benefit of intermittent stye fasting - 16:8 or 18:6, or whatever.
