What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I well remember when I worked in the NHS, (large hospital) there was a guy on our IT team who had had a triple bypass, he was in his mid 50s and used to run all over the place, up flights of stairs, the lot, you couldn't stop him running used to show us up. He said it was because he felt so well compared to how he had felt prior to the op. He was completely re-energised - I'm wishing the same for you. One day at a time though- keep well.

Would that be the same North sea that is a 5 minute walk away from my house? Little wonder I feel the cold so much. Pleased you have enjoyed your time away.

Yes, please! This is the type of positive feedback that will assist in getting through the pain.

Good morning

Have a good day all
5.00 here. I'm sure you know that Libre gives silly readings for some time after hot showers so I'd ignore that unless it was a cold shower/ice bath. No idea what they do to Swipey.
Edit: cold not cod

7.4 for me at 06:50 - first time taking a fasting level as I'm starting a diabetes "Expert" course today and I thought I needed to know.

up to 8.9 an hour after breakfast which is high for me, but only a 1.5 spike, which I can live with.
