What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Woah! And now, this evening, prior to a baked salmon supper, I’ve got a 5.4. My EndoSys happily keeping up, and maybe my hospital-menu forced me to refuse the disgusting garbage dished up, has, ironically, delivered a blood sugar outcome that’s controllable. “Thems the breaks!”
 
Morning all , fbg 7.2 . Still morning numbers high for me . 1.5yrs in you'd think there would be no more stored or getting stored glucose to dump because of the very low carb diet I've adopted and what makes it worse they have been slowly been climbing since dx .

Morning all. FBG 6.0 on the finger prick. 6.9 on Libre. Needle still stuck.

Tried a small portion of buckwheat with my brunch salad of salmon, showed minimal effect on Libre, so happy now I can have more interesting combos with the lettuce and cucumber.

Here's a salad recipe someone I know well uses (analysed in Cronometer as 9.5 gms carb,; cherry toms, about 1/2 a family bag of salad leaves, more like 160 gms cuc ) - especially on super salmon salad Friday. Add half a tbl spoon of toasted pine nuts as a topping - job's a (very, very) good 'un - allegedly. The salad has been my "friend's" base meal for 8 years. Oh, his fbg was 4.8 today :D
Edit: toasted pine nuts but nearly always tasted first

Morning all. 5.3 last night and 5.1 this morning. Had fun & games with Dexcom G6 after a site change, but finally settled after a calibration yesterday. Am considering the Omnipod 5 but a little sceptical what will happen when we get these high readings on new sensors.

Back to business. Morning today I’m with @Mojo 7.2 really fed up with these Len Goodmans. Does anyone find the hot weather gives higher bg readings. Its now too hot for me tbh. @ianpspurs very surprised that salad is 9.5g carbs or did I misunderstand, wouldn’t be a first. Stay cool and rehydrated all.
