What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All 6.7 today so can see the Hive on the horizon. @Ashybang congrats so pleased for you and @RosemaryJackson well done not easy to control BG when unwell. Hope you can find a way to tackle the sciatica as its a horrible thing. @flonvic rooting for you it will get better. Happy Thursday everyone, take care, stay well, get better.
@PenguinMum .I think the only thing that will make things better is if they let me go back on linagliptin.fbg is higher, pre meal is higher and post meal not coming down like it used to.Appointment Jan 9th with Dn.(the nice one)

Hola from sunny Mexico! Dang, it’s hot here….but it’s all good, better than the alternative back home. Blood a little high, but not awful…it’s the heat and slight change of diet for sure. Didn’t check this morning but we walked into town for breakfast (2km) wandered through some stores, bought some meat and cheese, walked back (seven km total) and blood was 7.5. I expected higher as it was super hot and I ate four corn tortillas with breakfast. I tested two hours after the meal.
off to splash in the rooftop pool….we are still the only ones here!

Still smiling off all the good vibes from you all, after yesterday's result.
Thank you
Plenty more to keep smiling about, as today another very good reading.
6am BG 5.2mmol. Feel amazing lol .
Almost feels like I'm dreaming this.....
I think sticking to my last intake of food no later than 6pm has helped, plus the copious amount of vegetables and chicken I'm eating, keeps the munchies at bay.
Good thoughts are passed on to everyone achieving their personal targets.....
Stick to the plan..... It's working for me.
Have a great start to the weekend folks.

7.6 - Drastic measure required here. I've slipped well off of my 6 >>> 5 recovering plateau.

However
Good thoughts are passed on to everyone achieving their personal targets.....
Stick to the plan..... It's working for me.

I'll take @Ashybang's results as inspiration.

Well done, I find it easier to stick to a plan if I’m seeing positive results
Keep up the good work

Well this week has been a write off. I’ve had visitors since last saturday and eaten enough mince pies to give Father Christmas a run for his money and it’s not even Christmas! I have tested most mornings and they've been in the 7s. Got the house to myself now so all the food temptation has gone.

Have a fab Friday everyone x

Morning All so 7.0 at 0800 wonder what it was one or two hours earlier. @Estragon you WILL get to where you are comfortable @Ashybang well done again @flonvic hope you can sort out what works best for you esp if its not just FBG throwing a wobbly. Anyone else needing a virtual hug sending one. Have the best Friday you can I know @Bcgirl will.

6.8 this morning.
BG creeping up again and out of ketosis this morning. Bewildering as I have not eaten anything different or more carbs. I even took my own LC bread sarnie to a workshop yesterday where food was provided in the cost and cancelled going to a Christmas dinner last night.
Hey ho! Onwards and downwards.

Congrats to all this who are happy with their results, hugs for those who are not.
