What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Oh dear. So sorry you're still feeling poorly @DEBBIESCOTT. There's a lot of it about and some seemingly unshakeable viral infections doing the rounds.

I hope you're getting as much rest as possible during the day.
Thank you
Blood sugar in double figures all day hospital have quadrupled medication & doctor has prescribed steroids

Hey folks still struggling a bit here with a 10.1 this morning. Could be worse but wish it was better

I have been trying to keep up with at least 5000 steps a day but I have slacked off a bit since my legs are extra swollen from the cold weather.

Hi @NeeNee87. When seated during the day, raising your legs on a chair and some cushions helps to bring the swelling down. Some gentle walking is good too. Even if you're not able to walk as far as usual, a little is better than nothing.

Morning all

4.9 mmol on waking at 6.00 this Tuesday morning.
Take care everyone and stay safe.
The snow is falling it’s so beautiful (except when you have to drive). This morning was 6.5.
Yesterday was bitterly cold here and snizzling all afternoon. Never heard of snizzling? Thought not. I've just invented it; for a cross between drizzling and snowing. Eventually the snizzling turned to snow.

Like @Ashybang and others I too have a high reading after being stuck in the stickies for days.
Libre 7.1
New GlucoNavii 10.2!!! Immediately took a 2nd reading from adjacent finger 8.8. Going with that one.Still very confused about both the high readings though. Ah well.

*Edited for clarification.

Morning @aylalake. When this happens, more often than not, it's the first test which is unreliable for any number of reasons.
You were right to retest.

Agreed. However there is no apparent reason of which I can think for two such high readings.
