What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

We're all different @RosemaryJackson but if it's any consolation (it probably isn't) my digestive system can't handle potatoes, so I take the easy route and substitute other vegetables.

Indeed we’re all different, now over ten years no potatoes for me. Potatoes and root vegetables raise my blood sugar. I don’t even miss potatoes anymore. Good luck to all of you!

Morning All dont think I posted yesterday but it was 7.2 whereas today is 5.9 not sureif thats a 5 or a 6 but I am touching distance of the Hive. Having simple salad dressed only with salt & pepper with my protein is working well.
Happy Saturday all.

Morning all. 6.6 this morning. Back on track even tho I don't know how I came off it yesterday! @LivingLightly I've ditched the potatoes now. Some say if potatoes are frozen, it doesn't affect bg but obviously we are not all alike. :banghead:
No, indeed. If it's any consolation @RosemaryJackson (it probably isn't) cooking, cooling, freezing etc has no beneficial effect on my blood glucose.

Well done for ditching the spuds. There are heaps of delicious vegetables we can enjoy instead.

I never was that keen on regular potatoes, Jersey spring new potatoes being the exception! But I find celeriac makes a pretty decent ‘chip’ at a fraction of the carbs if I just have to have something potato like.
