That sounds like a really restrictive regime @MissMuffett. It's a good thing it's for three days only.Anyway, starting a 3 day (hopefully I’ll stick it out!) fat fast today to kick start my weight loss, bring my BG down and try to get rid of the sweet cravings.
I know the feeling with those horrible spikey readings. I had a 13.9 this morning 2 hrs after a supposedly healthy bfast of yoghurt and berries. My BG was 15.2 this morning after going to bed on 7.1
Did you weigh the yogurt and berries? Maybe you had too much, I’m not accusing you, it’s just an idea. I know I tend to ladle it out as it‘s so yummy.I know the feeling with those horrible spikey readings. I had a 13.9 this morning 2 hrs after a supposedly healthy bfast of yoghurt and berries.
With time and understanding they do get less spikey and not so frequent but the hard part is working out the causes. Stick at it, it will come good.

Welcome to this FBG thread @Raisen22. We're pleased you could join us.My BG was 15.2 this morning after going to bed on 7.1
Thanks, I do actually weigh things that I can like yoghurt and stuff mainly because of my recent bad readings. I do also happily accept criticism or accuses if it helps me in any way. I even thought it might be a bad stick and believe it or not "dodgy" finger and re-measured on other hand but it was 13.8Did you weigh the yogurt and berries? We're all different, but I could not handle rice for dinner, unless it was cauliflower rice @Raisen22Morning all… went to bed on 6.6…. checked Libre at 6:45 and it was 14.2, but within a few mins its dropped down to 12. Checked BG on finger pricker and BG was 19.3 ?? I do not feel like my BG is that high. Very odd.
Attached pic from Libre… obvs there’s DP going on - my body must have to work real hard to wake me up haha.
I had rice for dinner, split my dose and that worked a treat but wondering if maybe these spikes are to do with the carbs at dinner? Has anyone noticed a difference if they have a very low carb dinner and whether this has helped with these spikes in the early AM hours?
