What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi folks, bit of a rush this morning so didn't get the time to post.

8.3 at 7:30am
Getting to where it should be in the morning (5-8) so making progress in spite of hiccups. Ain't posting tonight as aim heading out with "She who must be obeyed" for a nice dinner and a bottle of wine. Numbers tomorrow morning might be a tad high :-)

Onwards and downwards.

I must admit that I'm not as injured as you. I'm an ex-firefighter and damaged the discs at the base of my spine. This developed into arthritis and left the base of the spine ,well, easily injured is the best way to describe it. To much pressure and I go into spasms because of nerves getting pinched. I went from running 5-6 miles every other day and playing matches (Gaelic Football) quite a lot. Now with the pain of my back and knees I rarely have a relatively pain free day. So, like you, I now have to watch what I eat and drink. I just came very late to the party and have to catch up on the information here. As the wife says " I may have stopped playing, I didn't stop eating "

Keep at the diet, watch what you eat and don't forget that pain meds can give you a false reading sometimes.....as can pain

Didn't know that the pain meds could give a false reading. Thanks for that. All the best on your journey.

Last of antibiotics thrusday blood sugar high still 16 this morning still showing fake readings don't think antibiotics worked ?
You may need more medicine-I would see my doctor again and bring your meter-tell your doctor what your blood sugar sugar readings have been.

It's 1 am here but it's been at least 6 hours since I last ate so I have decided to test.
I am 329 mg/dl right now. This is not good. 18.2 mmmol is conversion. There were no eggs or broccoli for salad and my chicken tasted sweet-was i sabotaged at dinner?! At Mazzio's?It's 2am here now- I just took my insulin and metformin-they are a little late tonight but I usually do not go this high even when I skip them now. I am going to try to go to sleep and sort it out tomorrow. No wonder I feel like cr****P. Goodnight all.
