What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.9 this morning. Thought it would be higher after a stressful time on the motorway last night. I stopped in traffic but the guy behind me didnt. Now got a lovely time spent with insurance. A least we were not hurt but didn't sleep well.
So glad you were not hurt but such plonkers on the roads and motorways today, I've just come off M62 there was a 50 mph limit on the stretch I was on, so many plonkers speeding past in middle and fast lane, they had know idea what was ahead of them and they don't care either. Good luck with insurance but cannot forsee any problems he rear ended you so he is at fault, take care and rest up today it takes it out of you when something like that happens. Kathleen

5.9 at 5:00 am on nice looking Sunday morning, the Sun is just coming up and it's going to be another day in paradise by the look of it.

We have been sixty days with out rain, so we could use some whether its raining buckets, cats and dogs, or pick and pick handles.

Fbg 6.8 this morning. I'm not doing fatty protein liver blocks before bed to keep my food intake down. Bolus 10units of novarapid instead. Stops liver dump in it's track @urbanracer . Taken before movement and school run. Did you have to do a correction too?
Yes, on that occaison, but I've never seen a rise like that before.

Woke up at 5,2 mmol/l

One hour an fifty minutes and 10 kilometers of walking later, I arrived at 4,3 mmol/l.

Have a great Sunday!

Never since, either?
Something may have contaminated your food or drink, if a one off or if not double checked with meter may have been your meter having a blonde moment?
If not a regular occurence I'd put it down to a fluck!

Well lookee here!!!!! Another fine result.

Regarding your piccys. I think you migh find that your phone rotates the image automatically to show it in the best ratio. When you load it to the Forum perhaps it is reorientated back to original.
Yes @Butterfly1960 . I've had to rotate a saved pic then download onto her in past. If upside down delete your post then rotate opposite way on saved on camera then post til upright?

5.5 at 8:30.
At bit baffled did sin yesterday ate 520 grams of carbs !!!! Hmmm my gained muscles and lost fat seems to have done a difference A mystery but I am not going to do that a lot
Some eat a few more carbs then divert back to low carb to kick start their weight loss again. Fingers crossed?

4.0 today, have a great day.
Out of interest, where is your hypo level? I think mine is 3.6. Luckily haven't had one for a while. They are welcome for me as type2 as it means I can reduce my insulin and maybe lose some more weight.
You know hypos are less immediate for us type2s. Not as dramatic as a type1 hypo. Ours comes on slowly. I've only ever had an unexpected one in heavy pregnancy, but on huge amounts of insulin at that stage too.

Għada fil-għodu lilek innifsek minn min jaħdem ħafna lili dan il-mument il-Ħadd filgħodu. Well my most bodacious diabetic cool cats and hippy chicks this morning I went into my garden and laid out a load of random diabetic numbers on my lawn. Approached them with a forked branch and let it guide me to a number which was 3.3mmols. I am currently sat in a police cell in a straight jacket as my neighbours thought I shouldn't be indulging I such frivolous activity without clothes on. Have a most wondrous Sunday in whatever you are all partaking.
