What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

BG of 4.6 at 2.04am
The weather here in Scotland is awful. Drivng conditions going north are not good at all. ☹️
@Ymdawd Do take care we've driven to friends in Scotland over Shap Fell is horrendous when snow has fallen, and I do believe it's predicted snow for Scotland, great BG this morning little low for me but that's me! K
Had a better night last night and feel a tiny bit better so fingers crossed it's on it's way out! Hope so! K
BG at 4am 6.2 today

Good morning all. Blood sugars are 4.7 today.

Thinking about you, @Granny_grump_. Hope you are able to get some sleep.
So sorry to hear about your pain, @paula121s.
@ziggy_w thanks for thinking of me I did manage a little better sleep in stages last night but any sleep is better than none!
BG for me at 4 am was 6.2 goodness knows why?K

Good morning:).....5.8......had a strange night.woken at 3.30 with horrendous noise from the wind battering us,and rain coming down in buckets!Had a cup of tea and read my kindle and in an hour, all quiet. It will be interesting to see what the next two days bring!
@Ymdawd take care as you drive further north, hope the snow gates are open and the main roads have been cleared for you.

@Granny_grump_ Hope you have a better day today. You must be exhausted.Ive had bronchitis and found that like yourself steam and Olbas oil helped me.Also I used a sugarless cough sweet broken into pieces and sucked slowly helped to break that awful coughing cycle much more effective than cough syrup and almost as good as honey and lemon. The ones I used were Hacks sugar free I think.

good morning all :)

4.4 today

It's already looking like 'batten down the hatches' and hold onto your hats here in North Scotland today, I'm glad we got some shopping done yesterday and finished the little garden job we were doing, stay safe everybody :)

@Ymdawd - take care and I hope the roads are reasonable for you.

edit to add -
@Granny_grump_ I remember reading that something (theobromine?) in dark chocolate and cocoa is good for calming a cough, might be worth a cup of low carb hot chocolate/cocoa to try it, couldn't hurt anyway, is chocolate ever a bad idea ?

Thank you Ziggy.

@paula121s again thank you yes I did manage a little better nights sleep still woke up around three times but slept in between ,and hopefully you are getting a better pain management constant pain is so draining and debilitating,I've had osteoarthritis in my spine since I was 28years old with heavy boxes and trays of operating theatre instruments to lift and carry from room to room, not suffered has much since retirement but I can pace my day now. I get flare ups from time to time but I just rest more until it settles. Take care and best wishes to you. K
