What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi @paula121s have you heard anything from your consultant yet about the steroid injection they are going to give you, I know it's not long since you saw them but they did say you would have it before Christmas, and even if the secretary has gone off sick there has to be someone to take over from her. Give the hospital a call and Mather them about it. But firstly enjoy your girls while they are here! K

Not heard anything, I am going to ring on Monday, I can’t see it being done before Christmas now though!

@paula121s well don't know why not they aren't performing major surgery create that's the only way with NHS the ones that make the most fuss gets the treatment. They have been putting my sisters surgery back since September/ October and November but she has consistently phoned them and she is at last having surgery in January 11/1/18. But she needs a specialist team to work on her,so that's held up her surgery, you need them to give you this injection to ease your pain. Don't let up on them or they will with onset winter patient increases leave you until whenever they get the time! K

Good Morning! 6.5 at 0730.
I'm aching all over today. After staying indoors over the last few days due to the bad weather, I had cabin fever and thought I'd go out for a walk yesterday as it was sunny though cold. I slipped on black ice and gashed my head and bruised my hip and arms. :grumpy:
I thought I'd have a black eye today, as the gash was just at side of eye, but that hasn't happened.
Still I suppose I'm lucky not to have broken any bones.

Hi @Prem51,

This sounds really painful. Hope you are okay.

I haven't just woken up, honest! 6.3 though

(and seeing as my pre-meal check was 6.4, I'm going to do a spud test. Realised that despite being 1/2 Irish, I hadn't tried jacket potatoes. Unforgiveable! I.. suspect I know how the post-meal will look though)

Morning...been laid low with an awful stomach bug for the last four days...dodgy tummy with all that entails:yuck::yuck::yuck:...no appetite...lack of sleep...not absolutely 100% yet...but...feeling so much better...BGs were slightly higher than I usually had...nothing too drastic...hopefully can get back on track now...woke to a 4.7.
