What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Yesterday it rained all day, I paced, cleaned one window and read The Lady of Shalott and La Belle Dame.
Madam was suitably appeased.

Going to be difficult to better that. Still onwards and downwards. Keep swimming against the tide

The other page looked ok to me just now - your post was on there Granny, and in English.

Oh and well done on your 5.9!
@DJC3 I couldn't get on this with some chat at all it just appeared in this foreign language when I clicked the flag icon and a security alert came on my iPad saying this site was not secure, made me very concerned. But I did finally get on going back to forums and old posts not tried it again to see if it's gone.
And yes a the BG 5.9 was great to see thought I'd seen the last of my 5 s it will probably be short lived! K

Good morning all. Didn't post yesterday because I am a bit frustrated. Fasting blood sugars were/are higher than they were in the entire last year since I've been measuring.
@ziggy_w I sympathise with you and have myself "let it all hang out" about a similar trend lately. Pretty sure you will regain previous readings - the darkest hour is before the dawn and all that.:)

Good morning all. Didn't post yesterday because I am a bit frustrated. Fasting blood sugars were/are higher than they were in the entire last year since I've been measuring. Can't make out a reason either -- unless the lack of exercise is finally catching up with me -- might take another week to get over what's left of the flu and be fit enough though.

So, since I can't help it anyway, I better relax about it.

Fbg yesterday 5.9
Fbg today 5.8
Sending hugs ziggy

I love the idea of bodily parts and processes needing sacrifices. Perhaps some Proust or Witgenstein next? I feed mine comments from Telegraph readers. The resultant puddles caused by my mirth work splendidly.

@Goonergal In the nicest possible way, LCHF seems to have turned you into the Duracell Bunny. Brilliant fbg and great work ethic - Arsene has neeed a midfield presence like you since Vieira and Petit.

Am laughing out loud! I do find it hard to sit still these days. The contrast to about 14 months ago couldn’t be greater.

I haven't got any Proust or Wittgenstein. Here's a nice little article though about the latter. I was pleased to see he too was "swimming against the tide"

I certainly won't try the Telegraph approach but perhaps Top Tips from Viz would have the same effect.

Really wouldn't have the same effect - no pitch forks and burning torches. Thanks for the article, interesting read. I had a surreal interview, at the other place to yours, with a Philosophy Prof. I couldn't work out who was taking the pi** out of whom. I was accepted so he must have felt the same!

Morning to all, today I was 5.4.

After only 1 week of testing, It appears that this is my normal, if I can be considered normal, hopefully the diet and exercise will lower it somewhat in coming months.

Either that or like the two Korea's, it will be a static co-existence with occasional progress and setbacks, before returning to a stand off.

good morning all :)

4.2 today

negotiated the hot x bun fest safely, but bought some to make an Easter Bread and butter pudding for mum's visitors though ;) might have a go at a small one for me with a low carb spiced sponge and some cranberries (last few frozen ones). Enjoy your day everyone:)
