What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

The site uses Xenforo software so they probably use the 'naughty sheet' which is an automated process that replaces swear words with asterisks. We changed the sheet on my site and had the swear words replaced with Shakesperean insults (you can find them online), much more fun :)
Alas poor Yorick. My FBG was 11.7 mmo/lt today, better than 13.0 yesterday. Off booze for Lent, four days now, so think my liver is playing games.

Have the T2 annual review in 10 days time. Going cold turkey carb-wise. coasting BG 8 ish 90 mins after food. Still new to this meter-wise, learnt that fruit causes spikes, next experiment is fruit with a lot of yummy Greek yoghurt. Some days of low spirits, hopefully behind me.

Greek yoghurt..plus good.

Berries...blueberries, blackberries, strawberries a good choice

Other fruits CAN impact BG's
So double ungood.

( All the Shakespeare got me thinking theatricals .and 1984 came to mind for the speech.)

Oh and welcome to the forum @True Blue :)

Trouble is if it was Shakesperean in the original it would still be full of swear words. :)

Or maybe not.

Away, you starvelling, you elf-skin, you dried neat’s-tongue, bull’s-pizzle, you stock-fish!

have to say it's the devils own job keeping everyone happy, but the level of wordage is pretty low, as @rhubarb73 post shows.

I do like the idea of shakespearean quotes instead though.

Hunted did not find..did find this among many others..

which kinda show we all have good in us.

When I saw the top quote I thought, "Oh, shoot, maybe I better move to Michigan after all."

Then, thankfully, I saw the Tolstoy one. Sigh of relief. Michigan's too cold 3/4 of the year anyway. :D

Morning All. 5.5 this morning. Got a very big shock yesterday. No 1 son was travelling down to celebrate his birthday with us today and had a “cardiac event”. Luckily he was able to pull into a garage and another motorist called an ambulance. They have kept him in for monitoring and he sees a cardiologist today. Not the best way to spend your 28th birthday.
Best wishes to you all. Stay well, stay safe!
