What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@jjraak I only just now saw the sweet black kitty. S/he reminds me a lot of my sweet Smokey Cat of years gone by, and has equally good taste in choice of human company!

HGA helplady sounds like she knows her stuff, and I will just add to her prescription: 1 cat, with tuna and catnip to be taken as needed (by the cat).

Morning...feeling awful...cold in full swing...I have a cough with all the joint aches & pains you could want...apart from that I feel great:(...been on the Lem Sip Max & Covonia lozenges big time...so I am amazed I woke to a 5.7

@Bubbsie get well soon , nothing worse than a cold/Flu I find whinging at everyone makes ME feel better ......oh hang I do that anyway!! But do get well soon. A utterly shocking, nay horrifying 9.3 was shown on the meter of doom this morning!! But on a better note, its majestic sunshine here in the North East long may it continue.

The replacement wheels of fable, fortune and film-flam arrived by donkey cart from those apothecaries at Abbot and Costello last night and my left arm is now sporting a gleaming white disc of discovery which proclaimed a steady 5.0 at 0530 - oh frabjous day!
Have a marvelous day if you can, put together pointless lists of food products for indicative conversations with partners in preparation for a no meal deal if you can’t.

@Bubbsie sorry you are feeling so rough. Sounds very like the virus I had early Feb. The only thing to do is rest, rest, rest and drink loads of water and hot drinks. Oh and loads of Harry care....afraid Mr Churchill will probs be indifferent until his bowl needs food!!

Well, well, well... Seems like my liver heard me yesterday because I’m at a 4.9 this morning! Must be losing some of that dreaded visceral fat, that or my pancreas is bullying my liver into behaving now.

Hope you all have a good day! A full day today and chilly but only a 5 and a half hour work day for me.

5.4 today, so borerderline Meh - 12 gms carbs and 1200 cals deficit yesterday is not sustainable and suggests recent rises not diet related - or even harsher regime, or I'm out of touch with the breakdown of this century - he's not gonna fix it up too easily:arghh:
