Today we are skipping hotel breaky. Lie in, then getting some serious steps in. Discovering everything on foot. Much prefer terre firma! That said I found being on the back of the scooter yesterday exhilarating! Feeling the wind on your face, great feeling. Stopping wherever you like to admire the view. Nothing like travelling under your own steam. Today I'm hoping to capture corralejo's beauty on my mobile so lots of pics to follow. And lunch at the harbour is on the menu which will be wonderful. It's a lovely place. Very quiet but expect that's down to the time of year.Loving how that all sounds...
god bless Eric..( and you for having such balls to go on back..lol )
i enjoy it when people just let go a little, have a little fun, and don't take themselves or life too seriously.
(hard to do sometimes, i know, but so liberating )
sounds like your having a great time....
hoping for many more posts..
Happy holiday.....![]()
This made me laugh. When we were first married my first trip on the motorbike was to a very wet Cornwall. It rained all the way to Cornwall, the whole time we were there and all the way back. When we arrived home I got off the bike and said "never again'. So I also declared the bike Verboten - forever.

I'm working on it! Not on a travel programme though, sitting with Holly and Phil on the sofa (aka orange box!) Shouting down the NHS guidelines! This is my goal (one if them).Well what a post! wish I was there. You should be on TV

The Verboten is absolutely only for me. Husband still rides solo - only now it is only when the weather is good. He gets so much enjoyment from owning his Triumph Bonneville. I think he was secretly relieved that I didn't get on the bike again. I was so scared when the bike leaned over to go round corners I was leaning the other way.Oh dear, hope it was only declared Verboten for you.
Our children (they all ride) persuaded Mrs Miggins to take her test - she passed her CBT - declared never to ride anything with “those gear things” and bought a scooter.
6 months later it was sold and she went back to her 4WD stuff.
Very happy for her - and it means that I can still ride solo.
