What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all. 7.2 again after a 6.8 bedtime reading again. Beginning to think my monitor is stuck! I have been very careful and counted all my carbs and stayed under 30. Don't eat after 6pm so why am I not going down?

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. Good numbers @DEBBIESCOTT - quiet day for you today? @BrianDoc enjoy the walk and races? Abbott tell me the replacement Swipey is on its way so no known fbg. I'm being treated to Trolls by a 2 yo granddaughter dressed as Poppy Troll - costume bought by her 92 yo Great Gran aka Nanny London. Apple rice cakes for her - she is hugging her Nanny very tightly- usually a granddad's girl - and coffee with cream for me. Go Team D.

Morning All. 6.5 today so thats the latest “best of the week”. Happy St Patricks Day. Keep going @RosemaryJackson it will get better and as I have to regularly remind myself worry doesnt help. Keep going everyone. @ianpspurs you are in for a great day with Poppy Troll enjoy every minute.
Thanks @PenguinMum. She has been joined by her big cousin - yes, 3 is big. So 2 of the 5 granddaughters and JKP. Just me and 2 male dogs until school pickup and dad pickup - 3 more males.

@RosemaryJackson other health issues prevented me from doing much walking until about 6 months ago, since then I took advice of others on this forum, walk every day, got my morning levels firmly into the 5s, and lost 38lb. If you can manage it, try walking, even if it’s only for 10 minutes after meals.
Thank you, I'll try to take your advice. I'll let you know.

Long may the contentment continue. Your nemesis is gravy isn't it?
You really think I will say yay or nay to that? Not telling, as you will have too much power if I do. :D. Oh and get us both in trouble for derailing. ;):bag:
Joyful day today, still in the 5 zone with a 5.7.
Be well everyone, looks like spring is springing.

Stress? Illness or infection? Poor sleep?
There can be many reasons. Those aren't bad readings. Celebrate them

You’re doing great, really. I’m also wobbling in and out of 7s and 6s. But over 24 months my HBA1C has crashed down from 89 to 46. So, I’ve come to the conclusion that as long as I can sustain these levels, I’ll be fine, that, and my eyesight and my feet don’t play up, and so far they haven’t, I’m good to go.

So, do what you can - smack them carbostiens - and keep on monitoring - evidence based results. Oh yeah, and keep in touch here.

4.6 today. Had my last welshcake last night :(, got to wait for wife to do another batch. Have a good day everyone
