What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

A disgusting 9.5 not sure if it was the Lindens 90 odd percent chocolate yesterday or the prepacked chicken breast the tends to spike me, or the new meter! I give up either way :banghead: Not been that high for a very long time. Husband just eye rolled and shook his head when I told him!

OMG the same! No idea why my fbg were in the nasty 9's at 9.6. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Check the packet of the chicken breast meat. A lot of supermarket brands have been marinated in brown sugar.

This morning Inwas shocked after a lie in, to wake ,late, to 9.2. I checked same meter, same blood site a moment later, and it was 5.5. Still 5.5 two minutes later on a different meter. So I claim 5.5.

Have checked and its got 0.7g of carbs and 0.7g sugar so I will be giving it a miss. I wonder if they coat it in sugar when its cooked and they dont have to divulge that its marinated, makes me wonder.
