What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.1 again this morning - its been exactly the same for 5 days in a row.
For me, this is really good - I've had months of 6-7 in the mornings. Just recently started taking gliclazide daily again. (The nurse advised cutting it down to 1 every 3 days a year ago).
Haven't seen a Doctor or nutritionist about my D2 for years. The Nurses seem to rule the roost now. They alter your prescription, try to push Statins on you).
On the other hand, maybe my meter is faulty !

It's good to see that all the sugary sweetness of Eurovision last night didn't make me spike too much

:D And great to see UK now normal service has been resumed! That, and my side being relegated. Breathe out…. And, relax.

Morning all. 4.6 from Swipey here in Little America. How you 'doin? @Estragon good news on the sleep and better numbers. @Stu1969uk knocking it out the park fella. @DEBBIESCOTT exhausting just reading about your days. Granddaughter (#4 of 5) is 4 today and will be here for some cake. Hope there's no breeze she is so delicate it will blow here away. She's bringing her little but hench brother :woot: Have your own Super Sunday.

I've never seen a doctor about my diabetes only DN's and I agree with your comments about prescriptions especially statins my DN finally gave up re statins after 3 yrs of telling her that I didn't want them .

Morning all, fbg 7.9 disappointing considering food choices yesterday. The hba1c calculator I have predicted 56 with all the other numbers I've inputted. That's nearly back to where I started this journey. Bloods in 3 weeks and depending on results decisions will have to made depending on what's on the table from doc. Sorry for the rant one of those mornings enjoy your day folks
