We’ve just got to watch those sneaky carbs.Creeping up again - 6.2 FBG this am.
Yes I second the slow release. Which I s what I use except when there have been shortages and had to use it. You also need to eat more food with it or the explosive issue within an hour. I eat vegan low carb/ keto so it wasn’t great. Slow release is great if you have to take metformin.9.8 this morning . Was 12 yesterday and I’m trying to cut carbs gently. I had 2 tiny baby potatoes in my omelette today that sort of thing. I have been on metformin for 4 days and have a headache and feel like i have no energy. I feel quite low after 4 days of diarrhoea and being expected to shop and cook and organise everything as normal. Feeling grumpy and sorry for myself.
I have started taking probiotics and digestive enzymes to see if that will help with the bowels.
5.7 for lawrence morrison according to libre monitor after cup of teaHello mates,
At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee or tea, and reported our fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?...
It worked well as a sort of 'first thread to check' each morning and post to.
I'll start.
This morning was a 5.6mmol for me. That's about normal for me
What about you?
