Too many to list here . . .
5.2 - Lively Five-Hive here. However, advice is sought.

OK, got my HBA1C for this October, 55.00, meah, up 5 points from June this year. Here's the run from 2 years ago:

20/09/2021 46.00 - Lowest ever!
14/07/2022 53.00 - Ugh, raised 7 points, not good.
12/06/2023 50.00 - Down 3 points, better direction. Start of my Cardio Bypass. During this period there was a short Insulin period.
09/10/2023 55.00 - Up 5 points, but now well into Cardio rehab. With more exercise, my appetite dwindled, and have lost nearly 16 kilos
Mildly depressed and not a little confused. Here's the thing: Medication Metformin plus now, Dapagliflozin (recent Wunderkind of Cardio/Diabetes); watching diet proof of which is my descending and sustained 6 or lower morning fasting; as a result of the QuadBypass a lot more exercise, workouts, and gradient walking. Question: What do I need to do to get back to that 46.00 of 2021?

All donations, of advice, will be gratefully and respectfully received.

Morning All 7.9 which is so disappointing so serious work to be done. @Estragon you have been through a lot and I wonder if there has been a delayed reaction and your next A1c will be much lower. I have seen your FBG get better and better. I suggest carry on carrying on but sending hugs for the disappointment.
Have a good Thursday everyone.

5.8 Whoooo-hoooo!

@Estragon Brilliant results on this mornings BG and your hba1c results. It’s something I’m aiming for ;)
I was watching a YouTube channel featuring Dr Elizabeth Bright and she said exercise can stress your body driving your BG up but the best kind of exercise was strength exercises and toning and strengthening your muscles also helps control BG so that’s my next goal.

Have a thrilling Thursday one and all :D

O..K.. Whats the Plan PM?
Haha not really sure but today is (chunky cod) Fish Finger Firsday and I’m not giving that up so will try to skip lunch or make it a chunk of cheese. Oh and testing more. I find if I go off track it takes several days to get back! Will follow my mantra and carry on carrying on!

The term "big boned" lol repeatedly told this growing up!
6.6 at 6.45am as I stumbled into the bathroom, in the dark trying not wake up hubby, however he said I sounded like a herd of elephants! Must get my hearing sorted as I thought I was extremely quiet :banghead: Off for a loud workout!

Good morning! That sounds like a great way to kickstart the day. My fasting glucose was 4.8mmol today, which I'm pretty pleased with. Looking forward to seeing how the day goes. How's everyone else doing today?
Hello and welcome to this FBG thread. It's nice to have another new face on board.
Congratulations on achieving a FBG of 4.8 mmols this morning.

A great result, in view of your quad bypass. Don't know how long that dental infection had been brewing, but the presence of an abscess can't have done you any favours either. I take it you're on antibiotics post-drainage.

Thank you for keeping us posted; your progress encourages the rest of us.

Morning!
6.1 on this grey and rainy day. Still I managed to buy some pork scratchings form the market - health snack!
Isn't it nice to be guilt free about having snacks like pork scratchings?! I used to avoid them because of the fat content, but now I positively relish them and I find I don't need many anyway to take the edge off appetite.
