Being told “Oh go on, one won’t hurt you!”.
Conversely, the food police.
Whoop whoop!!
6.1 this morning! Another drop and THIS close to getting into the hive.

@PenguinMum when my 1st grandchild was born, while looking for a greetings card to send, I found a wee porcelain heart which read “grandchildren fill the space in your heart you didn’t know was empty” So true.
@Ashybang congrats on your result and fingers crossed you aren’t coming down with anything
@DEBBIESCOTT for the first time ever I had a Libre fall off (literally) on Saturday. I rang Abbott, and a new one is on its way. Meanwhile I feel lost without one. Incidentally, the FreeStyle Libre uses a small needle as part of the sensor application process. No needle is left in the site at all, it’s how the flexible soft filament is inserted under the skin.

Sorry you are not feeling great. Did you do a 2nd test on a different finger as confirmation?
I get rogue readings for no apparent reason but I try to distract myself with something enjoyable and not stress over it. Stress really affects my readings.

The term "big boned" lol repeatedly told this growing up!
FBG of 6.0 this morning after a late start. Missed my Sunday swim spot, probably just as well it is perishing out there and not much better inside. The feline is shivering in his paws and shovelling food down like he's stoking a boiler. I think hedgehogs have the right idea, I quite fancy a bit of hibernation until the weather is warmer.

Have a good Sunday all
I have a feeling this winter is really going to drag. Usually after Christmas it feels like the end is near and spring is on the way. This year just feels different :blackeye:

OH won't have a hot water bottle so I've claimed his and started taking two to bed with me and now at 9:00 in the evening I am sitting with a hot water bottle behind me and a thick arran cardi on to keep me warm. Were not skimping on the heating either, I just can't seem to get warm - one of the down sides of low carb I suspect.
I wonder if it is due to low carb as I was never like this before diagnosis, I did have more meat on my bones back then though! Hubby is a lot lighter also now and sits there shivering until the heating is on.

Rosemary give yourself some leeway, bad sleep and pain can impact on numbers . Its only one number its more important to get some good sleep and decent pain relief, if you can get the latter the former might be achievable.

As soon as I dropped carbs I felt freezing cold, even my GP remarked how cold my hands were. However according to Microsoft A!, Carbohydrates do not keep you warm,
,,, "The body generates heat through metabolic processes such as digestion, respiration, and muscle movement"

Not sure I'm convinced.

Evening @callyandy Well, what a way to start December!
Temptations abound this month but, you know what they say, where there's a will, there's a way
