What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi All
Had to rush out this morning but FBG was 7.3 and should have been better after being less naughty and more nice! Nice visit with new grandson and his exhausted mum & dad then spending tomo with other son and his partner
Have a good day all.

FBG 5.6 this morning.

I’m getting some low numbers on Libre despite being unwell with digestive problems, I even had a croissant for breakfast and it barely registered on Libre. I wonder if the reason is because my digestive system is (ahem!) moving things along at such a pace that very little nutrients are being absorbed. I’ll know when I’m getting better when normal service is resumed, on both BG and digestion! Meanwhile, think I’ll make the most of it!

Shock! Surprise! After a late night crispy Korean chicken wrap takeaway while waiting to board the Sleeper train back to Scotland at around midnight, and a whole Yorkie chocolate bar for dessert, on top of a slice of grandson’s birthday cake, and three hours broken sleep, I managed to actually get back in the hive at 4:30am!
Libre 7.2 (new CGM, still bedding in)
Fingerprick 5.7

Well chuffed with that!

Wow, well done, really pleased for you

Greetings all all. A 6.6 for me this morning . It's Christmas shopping today (sprouts, carrots etc) so I'm off to face the hoardes in Sainsbury. The theory goes that if we arrive early we will miss the crowds.

Christmas tradition is to have a sausage baguette for breakfast but that's been kicked into touch and instead I have a much healthier homemade breakfast waiting for me.

Have a great day all

Yeah, ‘Cept everybody else is using the same theory. So yesterday, dear hearts, MrsE and I went to COSTCO and then onto Sainberries too. Actually, Costco was simpler and quicker than Slainsberries.

Morning All Another bad one 7.6 so I think I need to sign up to the lost causes brigade. Oh well after Christmas maybe I can have better readings. Mind you I am passing on all the mince pies etc but Christmas dinner will include one roastie and couple of chunks of parsnip and bread stuffing. Just for one day! Merry Christmas everyone, stay safe and well.

I'm hoping my cattle prod and taster will steer the crowds away. If all else fails I'll pull out the fingerprick lance and stab a few *******!!
