Morning All 6.7 and do you know what? We all navigated Christmas and we’re out the other side. @Ashybang enjoy being back home with your family and sleeping in your own bed. Oh and the endurance and courage was all yours, we just cheer from the side of the road. @DEBBIESCOTT virtual and distanced hug for the tummy bug sounds really horrible. Hope you’re feeling better.
Hugs and cheers for anyone who needs them.

Being told “Oh go on, one won’t hurt you!”.
Conversely, the food police.
Mixed fortunes among our lovely forum members at the moment - hugs or cheers all round. Apart from fluctuating BG readings, I am really struggling to figure out what day of the week it is! Now I find out my waste collection is tomorrow instead of Tuesday!
Anyway, back to the point of this post:

Libre - failed yesterday :-(
Finger poke 6.3 after a less than restful night. Still, like @Estragon I am back down into the stickies. Yay!

Edited to amend reading after re-checking my monitor as my memory is foggy right now.

Fbg of 7.7 today so a virtually carb free brekky of vegan sausage, bacon, mushrooms and tomato today. Hoping that will help bring my BGs down a bit

SUPPLEMENTARY
Post brekky and BGs were 7.8 so not too shabby. Going to leave it a while now and have a later lunch - that should help too

Too many to list here . . .
A whopping 12.4 this morning
That is unusual for you. For me, Carbs-before-Bed hang about the next day, and do take time to dissolve away. I do try to go to bed "semi-hungry" - gives my whole system time to calm down, and my digestion not needing to work. You've now got some brilliant baseline data to compare.

6.9 - Scrambled into the Stickies. More work to do here.

Off for a follow-up Cardio CT Scan today. Lunch with the "Skin" and then B-in-Law taking me in his "Jam-Jar".

("Skin & Blister" Cockney Rhyming Slang, early New Year's Eve Party Game for y'all!)
8.9 my diabetic nurse believed my readings are too low , at normal levels

New Year’s Eve in the southern hemisphere already, and a FBG of around 5.9 for me. About right.

Replaced Mr Libre yesterday and this morning it went up to 6.7 when I initially got up, but back down to just under 6 when I leapt back into bed again.

Have a good day all!

6.9 - Tomorrow is the beginning of a New Dawn. Mine is a sustainable Sticky Plateau, to make a graceful descent towards the Hive, again.

To all my Chums here, I really wish you all well for 2024. See yah on the “other” side! “That’ll do Pig…That’ll do
