9.4 at 6.15am.Never had that high a figure before.I could understand it if I had been pigging out.Pre b/f at 9.45..10.1.2 hrs after b/f 6.7. Dawn thingy? Why now.Answers on a postcard please. Seeing higher numbers really gets me down.

Maybe you have an underlying infection somewhere ?

Talk of underlying infections not sure what is going on with my FBG even higher this morning with 12.3 . Lately I have been waking up feeling as rough as ten bears but better once up and about !

7.4 this morning. Cannot complain as could be worse owing to weakening a bit last night and giving in to 4 or 5 segments of Terry's chocolate orange as well as a few drinks and cocktails whilst visiting friends for a late dinner. Well and truly fell off the wagon from a great height but sometimes have to live life. Work to be done to put right the wrongs.

2.9 finger prick 2.45am most of yesterday spent snacking most of the day to try keep sugars up including just after midnight :/
at the moment libre is saying 5.4. hazlenut latte not hungry stomach playing up. probably due to the amount of **** ate yesterday. going to buy some fruit juice when go supermarket later on. have tried another unit less toujeo today. haven't done anything out of the ordinary exercise wise. roll on monday when DSN is in. they didn't call me back yesterday

At 6.45 today the reading was 7.1
BUT when i went to bed it was 16.1 . In recent times the high bedtime reading has dropped 8 points overnight .At 4.30 I woke to ringing in my ears a warning sign sometimes. I did a fingerprick test- 6.1. A drop of 10 points in 6 hours. Fearful of a furrther drop in the next 21/2 hours ( 3 points in 2 hours) I ate a tiny piece of jelly baby. Waking to 7.1.
It is not uncommon to have high readings at 10pm eg 13, and 14, Its also common for this to drop 6-8 points over night, Im going to have to bite the bullet and ask the GP Practice for help on the meds and insulin. Something isnt right . Advice and help is something thaat has been lacking in the past 4 years.

I do have a rash which is itchy.pharmacist reccomended hydrocortisone cream and strong antihistamines so I am using them.

Its so obvious from everyone’s posts how different we all are in how we react to food, illness, poor sleep etc. @Bobby105 I did wonder if your evening meal was a bit carby causing the bedtime highs. @RosemaryJackson brave move but I’m not giving up my lunchtime strawberries just yet will reduce the amount! Morning all, 4 83 mmol/L at 5AM this morning. Yesterday was an awesome sunny day. I was active all day, drank lots of water, which helped lower my fbg. Have a nice day everyone.

My local pharmacy was a life saver when I came back from America the other year with a really bad UTI. I didn't know how to go about seeing a GP when I was in US so just tried some over counter medication from Walmart which simply made things worse. When I got home, I went to my local chemist to see if they could help. The Pharmacist gave me 3 days of antibiotics which resolved the UTI. So grateful.

Yes I finally have got three days of antibiotics. First time in must be 20 years I have had antibiotics. Starting to feel better but just tired and BG levels in the 8s

FBG 6.2 today which has messed up my run of lower numbers. However the higher number is understandable as I just could not get to sleep last night. Brain was definitely in hyper-active mood. Went to bed around 12:00 midnight then couldn't sleep so gave up trying around 1:15. Watched TV for awhile then it was back to bed. I was still not sleepy so it took awhile but finally managed to drop off. Got up at 8:15 instead of my usual, in the region of , 6:00 am. Bloods have been been in 6s all day today.

Probably not the same issue but.. . my other half and i just had a bug. Nothing very obvious but dreadful tiredness and exhaustion . I couldnt stay awake for all of the day. My readings went up 16 -24. Doc said that was ok while unwell. Its taken 3 weeks to throw it off, and it was followed by tiny pinky itchy rash on the legs, which has nt quite gone. Readings are gradually returning to norm for me. I lost 3kg in weight despite eating. Best wishes

Libre 3.5 woke me up finger prick 4.3.
Amount of carbs consumed yesterday ridiculously high. Trying another unit less toujeo this morning to see if that helps continual rollercoaster. Brightside lot less blood last night think constipation finally clearing wasn't sore.

Hoping the co-op had a nice big delivery of fresh ingredients shelves pretty empty reminds me of start of COVID times. There's plenty frozen overpriced meals avail
