What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.8 for me today. Expected higher as early Fathers Day treat yesterday from family. Carvery meal but plenty of bad veggies, potatoes, yorkshires, beer and cake. All the demon foods and more. Blood sugar not only spiked to around 12 but stayed there for ages before slow drop overnight. Just for once I know why my BS is rather high and my own fault. :D :D :D

Well it would have been rude of you to not except a father's day meal. As long as you enjoyed it and not a lot of damage has been done.

10.6

Don't normally take a reading this early but was up for daughter's Father's Day zoom call (she wanted to show me her sunburn while the camera was set up!)

Yesterday's unplanned bowl of ice cream and small cider don't seem to have had any lasting effect

Morning all 4.5mmol/L at 6 am. Sunday morning. Awesome sunny weather nowadays keeps me active all day. Strictly drink 4 16 oz water. Last night 3 boiled eggs, about 12 walnuts, one small piece of dark chocolate and black coffee. Happy father's day to all. Have a nice day everyone.

5.9 today, 6.1 yesterday.
Gorgeous early summer weather, not too hot at the moment. Headed to Kettle River to do some camping tomorrow. Also booking a trip to Japan, way different than where we usually travel and certainly out. of my comfort zone (big city). Quite excited…but not happy to put the dog in a kennel.
