What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.4 this morning.
8.4 just now - I've been inactive all day. It's usually below 5 if I'm gardening or walking.

My specialist says I should be between 6 and 9, so, I reckon today is just fine.
Due to a whole string of low readings though (below 5) I'll be reducing my gliclazide by 40mg from tomorrow (specialist's orders).

6.0 this wet and dreary day. I did say we needed the rain, so I can’t complain.
I’ve started Japanese walking at the gym and am enjoying it. I also did upper body weights today and ended with a five minute stair climber. I hate the stairclimber….

Yesterday it was so sunny my solar panels generated too much power and kicked the inverter into fault mode ( shut down). This morning it’s grey. Hey ho

Five point eight on the contour next finger pricking machine

Coffee shop doesn’t open until ten today. I can’t wait two hours . The kettle is on

Have a good one if you possibly can

Although the church clock is telling me it's seven o'clock!
I'm still averaging 7s fbs just spent some time checking my postings back in june 2018 on the low chat thread
a bit disappointing as I was averaging 5.5 s then
I suppose I've just got to plug away at it .Screenshot_20250622-082359_DuckDuckGo.jpg

5.8 at 7:25. Had a dreadful night as in pain most of the time and too tired to get up to resolve it with painkillers but eventually got up at 3am!
@Diawara our church clock is usually 2 minutes slow :joyful:

Have a lovely day everyone, although very warm, there’s quite a strong breeze x
Its a pity we can't give more than one emoji one for ur pain and winner for BG .
