What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All still checking FBG every day and it has been between late 7s and early 8s. Today 8.0 just to prove the point. Am trying to keep carbs around 30g a day but not always easy. Well done everyone here.
liver seems to try be helpful sometimes bringing sugar levels up to what it thinks its supposed to be at. its hard work indeed to get it to behave. very diffucult to keep carbs under certain amounts especially for weeks/months/years good luck hope you see some lower deserved figures. :)

6.1 today. I’ll take it. I quite enjoyed yesterday’s fast and did see the blood sugar go down nicely. Carnivore dinner and I saw more of a rise than expected…uggg. I had home made chicken soup (broth with eggs mixed in for noodles), pulled pork (home made, no sauce), and some cheese (extra aged cheddar, no carbs).
Gym today was the rest of upper body, a few abs and a nice walk chatting with a friend on the next treadmill. Love that.
Super windy today but relatively mild. The leaves on my beautiful maple tree dropped like crazy last night, so there’s a big chore for today.
Lunch was bacon and eggs with some cheese.

6.8 today after only 20g carbs yesterday. Struggling to be able to get out of the 6's and 7's first thing unless I test at 3AM which of course is not desirable. Just appears to be my own natural BS rhythm and my liver seems content to do it's own thing, could be worse obviously but frustrated that it won't listen to me.

Lots of great numbers from everyone today! It’s really nice to see that all the effort is paying off. I get those slightly higher morning readings too for no obvious reason — I guess it’s the liver trying to “help out.” Sometimes it feels like our bodies have their own plans, but as long as things stay steady overall, that’s what really matters.
i've worked out if keep carbs relatively low as the day progresses i deal with them better, presumeably as more active as the day goes on. morning spikes are a bit better not as high :) have massive added advantage honeymoon phase, highly suspect blood glucose to goto pot soon as the immune system kills off the remaining insulin producing cells :( I'm still not convinced of type have ... type1 would agree. not sure if lada/mody or if indeed if treatment would differ lol whats only for certain is not enough insulin to deal with 'regular nhs dietry advice'

6.0 today…slowly but surely! If I can believe my Dexcom I got to and stayed in the high 4’s during my workout, very nice indeed.
Today was a leg day…I have a love/hate relationship with leg days. I also did a short 15 min walk to chat with a friend and finished my workout with a 20 min bike ride.
The sun is shining, it’s a gorgeous fall day so we are heading to our lovely provincial park for a walk while there is no snow….it will come soon, especially to that area.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
