Thanks for the advice but fortunately the chef makes a great flamboyant display of preparing and cooking the omelette mix with freshly cracked eggs and milk to order. However the only suspicious ingredients are the cooking oil and maybe milk, I never put milk in my own omelettes, just eggs so suspect that may be the culprit.When we’ve been abroad omelettes are made with powdered eggs, better off sticking to fried eggs, worth trying
However despite the poor start, the whole day continues on a trend of bad choices of which I am totally to blame but more than happy to accept if it means enjoying a late holiday. Obviously I could avoid many of the offerings and starve myself but we have to live life and I know that back home things will be different.
In a way it just goes to show how harmful my life was before taking notice of carbs and their effect on BS and it also shows how even a minor "falling off the wagon" has a rapid effect on readings. Good luck to all in your own challenges.
