Type 2 What's the current soundtrack to you life ?

Thank you so much @Simha it must of been heartbreaking for you to lose 2 parents in such a short time :( but we are blessed with wonderful memories, my dad was quite a character, bless him <3

When I was about 10 years old maybe 11 my mum and dad bought me a Dansette for Christmas this was the first LP I ever bought after saving my pocket money up for a few weeks.

Prokofiev / Peter Ustinov / Herbert von Karajan, 1960: Peter And The Wolf.

 
So many versions...but this one is beautiful.

There is so much music out there to touch the soul.

And deep within my restless soul a note is touched by
to find peace within and remember those whose life has been and will be so much harder than I can ever imagine.

Actually there have been times when this has been the soundtrack for me and I suspect I am not alone in this.

great choice..Nice post.

Agree..sat and watched that a long time back..sharing a house....bored.
all set to eject video, and move on to next one...then they sang "Look down..."
and i was mesmerised.

seen the show a couple of times.
Weirdly, at the 1st i loved the first half..
and the second show preferred the 2nd half.

How ever THAT stage version video..watched it many, many times..'master of the house' what a joy to see and it's ALL so good.
beat the pair of them hands down.
and as for the Film with a marvellous actor like crowe..please don't get me started. awful.

The address Should highlight, in which case...
* right click and COPY
IF it doesn't highlight,
* Then right click, select all then right click again and Copy as appropriate .

Come back to here to post.

click on REPLY...NB: the one RIGHT at the bottom of everyone else's posts..
then in THAT window, select the choice above post that is represented by the FILM reel
* Right click inside the ENTER MEDIA space provided
* Paste LINK inside that ENTER MEDIA provided
* Click on embed media..and enjoy sharing your chosen video with the forum.
