World Carnivore Month 2020

Sausage was a mistake, not bad on the BG but arthritic toe and finger weren't impressed today.
Overbought at the butchers again - massively under hungry today.
Coffee & cream X seVěra
2 small but thick streaky rashers of bacon
Bowl of mutton stew
Small herring - gently fried in home-made lard including roes. Fish was the highlight!

Oops posted today on carny thread.
I'll just drool over Goonergal's ribs. :D.
Mum got a Salter air fryer for £33 in the Xmas sales -<green>

Australia exported 1.3 million head of live cattle last year, 675,874 head to Indonesia, good to see that the Muslim population enjoy a bit of beef for dinner.

Roast beef, corned beef, lamb stew.
Extras over and above needs this week - pigskin and 3 kidneys and 3 rounds of shin and some lamb stew. Shame to have to put it in the freezer. My appetite so far down now.

Didn't feel well yesterday so ate in the evening rather than continuing to fast -was 22 hrs anyway. Lambs kidneys, lamb stew cheese and a ton of fresh crackling.
Having to take more prednisolone -I hope that perks me up. Pre-warned work I might not be in.

Some good news, I think. Temperature 36.8C an hour after eating. As it generally languishes in the low 36s and sometimes in the 35s, this is a welcome change.
I hope it continues to show improvement.

We had mutton chops like these cooked over the coals in the fire pit yesterday.

Remember only three more meat shopping days in January...

Checking in after my final weigh and measure of WCM.

Weight is down 4.2kg (9 pounds) with 4cm off waist and 3cm off hips, joints feeling much better too. Now to avoid drifting back to those dratted nuts, nut butters and dark chocolate.

Thought we'd better finish up carnivore month in style with a 1.4 kg t-bone.. reverse seared (cooked in oven then finished on the BBQ in the rain!). **** tasty...

A late entry to the month. We spent New Year in Fowey, Cornwall and splashed out on these two beauties from from the admirable Mr Kittow. Cooked rare in a bit of oil and basted with some good Cornish budder. Can't be beat!

Edit. Apologies for the tease but the site won't let me upload the photo as it's too large!!
I'll work on it.
