Just thought I would let you know that I had my first HBA1C result after ten weeks off insulin. 36! no medication
am I glad that my nurse asked why I was diagnosed type 1 without antibodies and did a c peptide.

Thanks for letting me join. Hoping to gain as much info as I can about diabetes, specifically type 2.

No Diabetic eye check for two years now.

Off all diabetic meds due to eye problems. Now free falling on a keto/low carb diet. 11lbs down and a lot more to go. Using a Libre 2 Plus at own expense but finding it an invaluable tool to monitor what does and does not affect my blood sugar.

Type 2 on metformin twice a day, two tablets with breakfast and one with evening meal. Was consistently around 48 to 50 with Hb1ac until earlier this year jumped to 60. Working hard to get it down reduced my carb intake dramatically and seeing results already

Hi. I am Diane. When I first got told I had T2 I dieted and was good. Then my Mother in Law had to live with us, a lovely lady but starting with Altzimers, didnt help my blood sugars. I have put on weight and dont seem able to remove it. Can someone give advice please.

Hi, I am T1D and conducting a study about navigating adulthood with T1D. This study is for my final year dissertation at Leeds Beckett University. I am looking for T1D people aged 18-30 from the Uk to take part in my interview study. Do I have permission for this?
