Hi, just joined and you kindly offered me the free diet plan books to download but I am gluten, dairy and egg free so don't think any of your meal plan diets will be of use to me? I have to substitute ingredients in my cooking already as my husband eats normally which can be quite tiring after prepping for up to an hour for some recipes.
Hi, I'm a wife of a type 2 , using a low carb diet but hubby not seeing a loss in weight however blood sugars are much lower. Any advice muchly appreciated.

Hello, and welcome.
You will be more likely to get advice if you start a thread. Much more visible and more opportunities for conversations with members.
How to reverse diabetes? Is it possible, to watch videos about diet and exercise? True or false.

Hi @faraz9 and welcome to the forum.
Reversed, in Remission or very well controlled, which ever term you use. I prefer very well controlled. I have a normal HbA1c and blood sugar values now by taking one tablet and eating less than 40g carbohydrate a day. However if I went back to eating a lot of carbs my numbers would become diabetic again

Hello thanks for this opportunity for being here and get all the support I can and helping others in the community as well any recommendations in how to help my condition. type 2 diabetes
Thanks for the like but I am not sure if these morning highs are a good thing. I have only recently started testing and get highs late at night and mornings but around 7 or 8 in the day. All seems a bit high to me but despite being T2 for probably 20 years I have never really paid much notice, just took the pills and carried on.:)
Hi. Just joined the forum. Diagnosed type 2 in 2013. Managed to get into remission for most of the years but back in the diabetes zone again this year. Didn‘t join any forums previously but think it might help this time. Look forward to reading some of the threads.

Hello and welcome @Kayley22 .
It's not uncommon for posts by new members to be held back by the forum software for checking by a human. While a lot of spam gets caught that way, it can also cause delays in the appearance of perfectly innocent posts. I can confirm that all of your posts are now visible. Kind Regards EllieM from the moderator team.

newly diagnosed T2 Diabetic with a score of 60. Doctor’s appointment to discuss end May. Instinctively don’t want to be put on metaformin so I hope i can persuade them to try diet and exercise first. At 70 yrs old all doctors ever seem to want to do is push more drugs down you. i am so cross with myself as they say this disease is preventable.

i hope to find many answers and help here once I’ve calmed down

Hey. You recently replied to a thread of mine about using Diabox + LibreLink alongside each other. I'm doing the same and really liking it..but...Diabox keeps asking to 'force stop' Librelink. Do you know if Diabox automatically sends data to LibreView...or...do I have to reconnect LibreLink to ge the data out to LibreView?
