Glad I don't like them
Although I must make some low carb truffles. Been going to do it since Christmas and never got around to it mainly because there are so many good looking recipes for them. Decisions , decisions. Never mind , final episode of Line of Duty tonight. I actually went back and watched all of season 1 again to see what I'd overlooked. Wish I'd had time to watch 2 & 3 again.

At work today - it's 5 minutes' walk from home, and 2 minutes' walk from the pub. So after earning a crust this morning we went there for Sunday lunch, before starting the afternoon shift..... (not really a shift - we're both self-employed, each with a backlog of work at the moment, but still).

I asked for roast pork and crackling, gravy in a jug on the side, plus as much veg as they could possibly fit on the plate.

I got 4 massive slices of roast pork, crackling a go go, gravy I could help myself to, about half a cauliflower, half a head of broccoli, a load of carrots and some shredded cabbage.

Okay, so the veg was a massive version of their 'standard' veg, so I did have to share it - but happily Mr S was happy with most of the carrots and a bit of cabbage (with his full roast beef and all the trimmings), and I troughed the rest with my pork and crackling, with a bit of gravy.

I was happy as a low-carber in a bacon factory. Ding dong! I don't envisage eating again until Thursday at the earliest.......

;)

Hello:)
B. Raspberries and yoghurt

L. A disappointing gardeners salad at a garden centre. It was supposed to be Stilton and cheddar and it was not cheap! The cheddar was processed and tasted more of plastic than cheese while the Stilton was really past it. I ate the bit of salad and coleslaw.

D. A slice of ham with 2 poached eggs. Strawberries with double cream.

I have a pomegranate pot ready for the final instalment of Line of Duty.

No morning blood sugar rise today. 6.3 on waking, 5.8 before breakfast, 5.2 two hours after breakfast and stayed in the 5s all day.

Breakfast - 2 poached eggs and 2 rashers of bacon

Lunch - tuna mayo with rocket and baby plum tomatoes; Oppo chocolate ice cream with double cream

Dinner - lamb chop with cabbage and sprouts, with a bit of butter

Oooooooooh @mo53 a glass of excellent Pinot Noir followed by my pudding of sugar-free strawberry jelly and double cream will accompany my own Line of Duty viewing! Can't wait for all three (vino, jelly, LoD) but will be GUTTED when the closing credits roll........!

:):):):):):):)
No way Hastings (fella) is a baddy but Hilton.....what a creep and don't get me started on that slime, brown nosing Jodie. I dislike her more than Roz and That's saying something. Even going through Season 1 again I'm still none the wiser who balaclava man is.

No spoilers please - yet to watch it!

Yesterday finally worked out as -

25g macadamia nuts and 2x Babybel
Sea bass, lobster and samphire sauce, asparagus and replaced crushed new potatoes with broccoli in blacksticks blue cheese sauce followed by cheese and biscuits (nom nom :-) )

Lidl roll with leftover cheese from the cheeseboard
