I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good morning, my good, fine friends on Type 2 Life, at 6:38 Ante Meridian British Summer Time on Friday 27th October 2017 Anno Domini,

I awoke in the early hours of this morning feeling a headache, sore throat, earache in my left ear, a tender feeling above my left ear and achiness in my legs and arms and torso. I'm going to go to the GP and get it checked out and see if it needs medicinal treatment. I've already taken 2 x 500 mg of Paracetamol and it hasn't eased it very much. The achiness and unwell feeling is making me feel very lethargic and sluggish and a bit tense and unrelaxed.

I took my medication, including my diabetic medication and my blood glucose reading was 5.2 mmol/L.

Good Morning, my good, special friends on Type 2 Life at 3:24 Ante Meridian, Greenwich Mean Time, today, Sunday 29th October 2017 Anno Domini, 3 hours and 24 minutes after British Summer Time ended and the clocks went back 1 hour,

I went to my new GP at my brand new doctor's surgery, and I told him about my feeling unwell with my earache in both ears, my sore throat, and the tender feeling on my scalp below my hair and the achiness in my legs, arms and torso and he put a thermometer in my ear and said I didn't have a temperature, then he shone a light down the back of my throat remarking it was very red, and then in both of my ears commenting that the insides of them were both very red and he diagnosed an ear infection and prescribed some antibiotics called Amoxycillin which I have to take three times a day until they're all gone to clear up the infection. He also asked me if I'm a smoker, and I said yes, I am, very honestly, and he asked me how many cigarettes I smoke in a 24 hour period, and I said, I've never counted them but I approximated my smoking is very variable, sometimes being only 20 and at other times smoking 40-60 a day.

I administered an Amoxycillin capsule, initial dose, at 1:00 Post Meridian, British Summer Time, on Saturday 28th October 2017 Anno Domini and also, just now at 3:20 Ante Meridian, Greenwich Mean Time.

My fasting blood glucose reading, today, at this time, was 7.0 Millimoles Per Litre, after yesterday eating a bag of microwave heated yorkie puds and a bowl of Paxo sage and onion stuffing and 2 cups of tea with icing sugar (1 teaspoon each cup), and all this was around Ioanna's flat whilst I was waiting for the council locksmith to come and change the lock whilst she was in her psychiatric hospital. In the evening, I had 2 bowls of Weetabix with granulated sweetener and milk. While Ioanna was in the psychiatric hospital having treatment for her psychosis and EUPD, Someone had broken into her key safe and stolen her beautiful flat screen telly, 1 blue ray DVD player, 2 energy saving light bulbs, a table lamp and her burgundy rug. The police are investigating it.

I am so sorry that you are poorly and hope you feel better really soon.
Poor Ionna, to be in hospital and to return home to the theft of belongings is awful. A big hug to you both.

Did you remember to put your clicks and watches back an hour?

Hi everyone just popped in to say i'm still ticking and not dropped of the end of the world (not yet any way) big thanks to my dear friend @JohnnyBaker12021970 for all your kind words and prayers keeping me safe very much appreciated johnny.
big thanks to @ickihun ,@13lizanne ,@debrasue ,@maureen5752 and @Diamum5972 for all your kind words and well wishes for my long and very forget full past year.
It has been a very stressful and painful year since i last posted my memory is still no better i am still struggling to do things like this getting confused and stressed because of it.
my BG's have been in double figures for as long as i can remember with FBG's in the 10's and higher most days i will admit that i have lost interest in doing my bloods just thing whats the point most days (when i remember to do my BG's) or Tina keeps pestering me to do it.
My physical problems are still getting worse with the pain now spreading to my shoulders and arms i am taking Tramadol 200mg twice a day for the pain but it's not helping much but my pain Nurse doesn't want me on morphine but i am contemplating asking for the morphine for night time so i can get a good nights sleep.
There may be a light at the end of the tunnel though (or wishful thinking) i was watching the morning BBC news not long back and their was this woman on there telling her story about years before finding a diagnosis for her problem and when she started describing her symptoms i just thought she is describing me not her and the more she spoke the more it was me sat there saying these things and the diagnosis was M.E ( chronic fatigue syndrome ) so i have been trying to get an appointment with my doctor to get a referral to the specialist at the Derby Royal hospital.
I am at the stage now that i really don't care what they have to do to me anymore they can cut me up for all i care as long as it gets me answers but not at kingsmill hospital they can kiss my big hairy -----, the biggest waste of NHS money going .
I hope you are all doing well and not suffering to much and no @ickihun you can't have my mobility scooter
thanks all

Hi Ron - it's good to hear from you!
I'm so sorry to hear you're still having all these troubles (although I have to say you're looking good on it, from your new photo!). Have you ever discussed ME with your doctor? A cousin of mine has suffered from it for about 25 years, so I know well what a debilitating, painful, frustrating illness it is. Having said that, because it has been recognised for so many years I'm sure they must have better ways of treating it nowadays.
Sending you big hugs and my hopes for a solution on the horizon for you.

Thank you Debs for your well wishes I'm afraid the pic is an old one found on my PC
Not had chance to speak with my GP about it as it's getting the appointment to speak with her have been trying for couple of weeks with no joy.
Have been doing a lot of research about M.E and it does tick all the boxes and describes me down to a tee.
Have to travel to see nearest ME specialist but I'm past caring about that now.
From what I understand from the research there still is no cure but it can be managed which will do me fine.
Hope you are doing well Debs and keeping up the writing and the troubled two some are still giving you plenty of joy and love

Lovely to see your post @eldergarth. You made me smile and lol. The kids said "what?" I keep smiling.
I'm just back from physio at hospital as the local clinic is 2 buses and 3 x20mins walk for me. In the summer I top my 100mg tramadol every 4hrs to religiously 4hrs to do the slow walking. I just cannot do it In this wind. The cold is stiffening me up. I'm winter clothing, wool full length coat and furry hat at mo so I got a car lift to one bus direct to hospital. Then 2 directly back via the city. I explained the numb foot and blister without pain and numb leg at times, inablity to walk with stick/crutch on left side of body and she said it was ok. Told her of wobbly legs and legs not moving when I need them too. Wind causing more anxiety of a fall.
I will be hiring a buggy to do shopping in the city centre, over the winter and very very busy shopping centre. Of which I will post a pic once not embarrassed to do so. Ha ha I might need to start a scooter thread eh?
Have you found a good M.E website? @eldergarth.
I don't blame you for changing hospitals. Well done for taking charge of your care and getting at last a feeling of progression.
I'm sure once you know exactly what is going on will your bgs settle down again. With the best will in the world diabetes will always do its own thing, regardless of meds, exercise and often diet. Type2 will always be classed as a diet disease but we all know food is just the tip of the iceberg when other illnesses are involved. ;)
Great to hear from you. Try and keep in touch. V

Thanks Vicky I found my scooter on flea bay this elderly bloke brought it because of his blood disorder and then was told by his doctor not to use it as would make him worse so he never used it and was just Sat in his garage for a year so I got a £1,100 scooter for £350 what a bargain.
I have only found sites for ME that give info on symptoms and diagnosis which has answered all the questions I have wanted answers to since all this started just need the referral now.
You should never be shy or ashamed of using a scooter Vicky its all about getting the freedom back and making it easier for you and others that need them.
I think my biggest problem is my confusion and memories I have lost an awful lot of good memories mine and Tina's wedding day has gone most days I don't have a glue what I did yesterday, what day it is and what I have just watched on TV and thank God for spell checker as my spelling is getting worse never mind stringing a sentence together it takes me while it took me about an hour to do my first post today.
I really hope they get the answers and relief that you deserve Vicky and I will give you race when you get your scooter

Good to see, despite all your challenges that you have managed to hang onto your sense of humour.

I don't, thankfully, have any personal experiences of ME/CFS, but I have found the Health Unlocked forums to be generally good for information: https://healthunlocked.com/meandcfssupport

Keep fighting the good fight. :)

Dearest Ron (@eldergarth), much love and cuddles to you, my dear, kind friend. I'm so happy the good Lord has been answering my prayers for your lovely kind self - God is so good, by the stripes of Christ. I like to pray, it's one of my ritualistic routines in my Autism Spectrum Disorder as my faith in Jesus is very important to me. I'm so sorry to hear of your M.E and your immobility, I'm praying for major healing for you. I really love you and Tina and Debra, Vicky and Anna on Type 2 Life and I think about you all, somewhere in the United Kingdom, even when I'm not logged on to the Forum. I've grown a lot as a person, and an individual, since I opened my account with http://www.diabetes.co.uk and I'm highly thankful to all my friends on the Forum. Oh and by the way, I love BBC News 24, too, it's how I keep up with what's going on in the world. It makes me cry, sometimes, when I think of the horrid predicament the world is in, and it makes me very emotional. That's why I love to support http://www.38.degrees.com and http://www.avaaz.org and sign tons of petitions and start campaigns to opt for a better deal for those with austerity problems and to promote fairness and equality for all.

Much love, Ron, hugs and thinking of you, this day, tomorrow and for evermore.

Little one was sent home after being sick at school yesterday so...... calpol and games today. He's well enough for school but not allowed back for 48hrs after a bug. Hoping he's back tomorrow as I bought 10yr old a new tablet yesterday but want to check it out asap for Santa. 4yr old has one from Sants too with bounce-proof cover and travel cover.
Virgin internet will be hammered xmas morning, in our house.
I hope Santa brings me a new phone. Mine is so sloooow. I'll empty it and give to 10yr old to lose.o_O

Yes. He was fine at school yesterday. Luckily. He refuses foods which are too cold, mainly milk.
The dietician will be pleased, he's lost weight again. Tall and not overweight but thick boned maybe like mr ickihum's x-rays show.
He goes off his food for milk, whenever he can. He says "no", a lot.

I'm cooking a lovely roast Silverside of beef on 180 to 190 Degrees Celsius for just over 2 hours and 5 minutes for myself and 2 friends, plus a dinner for Ioanna. I'm going to serve it with potatoes roasted and cooked in a little Sunflower Oil and meat juices. We're also having peas, cauliflower and broccoli which is lightly steamed on a moderate heat.
