What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Had a good trip to Toronto. Saw my neurologist, she is sending me to see a different specialist to get a more complete diagnosis. Probably fairly soon.

I had a nice birthday yesterday. I always enjoy heading into the city. I've been visiting Toronto for years. I have family living there. But now I like the journey and seeing all the interesting places along the side of the highway. The highway has changed a lot since when I was a kid. It use to two lanes for most of the trip. Now it is a completely divided four lane highway. Which make traveling to and from Toronto so much easier now.
Drove to London yesterday...took the M25.. .four lanes ...love it when its clear...that little burst of speed...very invigorating...and gets you past the depressing scenery so much quicker... mainly consisting of industrial estates & hypermarkets.

I love the drive down to Toronto. Lots of small towns to pass by, along with all the restaurants, service stations, businesses, and homes. Plus the lakes, and forest.

Morning all. Not been here for a while cos away for my anniversary. And it was my husbands anniversary as well so he came along too.
Had far too much to eat, including the dreaded national trust scones. Didnt take meter with me, (just forgot it), but think I will make sure to take it next time we are away.
Yesterday I woke to 7.8.
Today it is 7.0. I have not had bgls so high for ages. The rest of my diet was fine, but I did eat a lot more than usual. I have found it amazing how much it alters when I have not really has far more carbs.

Hi lxarix Happy belated birthday greetings to you
Although I am not aware of your reasons to visit your neurologist I do hope you have a good outcome from it all.
So seeing how Toronto has changed and seeing interesting places is what makes holidays and short breaks more enjoyable,we always get out there and see has many things and places has we can when we go away. I love to experience how people get around and the different villages and buildings, train and bus journeys take you places you would not usually see on holidays.
Although I understand your visit was not a holiday has such you seem to have seen it in a different way sometimes we take things for granted, then it's like a light bulb switching on and the places we visited has changed in so many ways. Take care and enjoy life. Kathleen

Thank you...levels have been up & down recently ...weekly appointments for the last few months...a good score means I can extend them...so fingers crossed.

Good luck to you. K

Good morning everyone
