What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Mən şənbə olduğuna inanıram və hər kəsin yatağından çıxdığımı düşünürsən 6: 00-dan bu yana başınızı sınamaq lazımdır. After hiring a commercial floor polisher and moving around some of my furniture I have turned my living room into a diabetic roller disco. I am currently sat in an NHS walk in centre with an ice pack on my dislocated knee but boy oh was I going at some speed when I smashed into my own fireplace. It broke into 4 pieces and curiously enough my blood sugars are 4.0mmols. Happy skating my my fellow diabetic roller blading posse massive.
Oh no mr d hope your ok

OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...sounds more like Demolition Derby than Roller Disco DL...have they managed to put the knee joint back yet...just saying that makes me winch...fingers crossed you escape there soon...and step away from the floor sander.

Good Morning! 6.3 at 0720. Highest fbg since I've been here. I had red pork and dumplings instead of pork noodle soup for a change last night, and no alcohol - I thought my liver could do with a rest.
There has been heavy rain, only for about 30 minutes each time around 4pm the last couple of days, but there are thunder storms forecast around 2pm then 5pm today, so I might give the beach a miss today though it's warm and sunny now.
Have a good weekend wherever you are!
Love the avatar Prem...could be poor old Churchill (family cat) sitting at the garden door refusing to go out for his morning duties...peeing down here...second day in a row...had nothing as ambitious as a trip to the beach planned...beach...warm & sunny...where on earth are you?...no don't tell me...I may feel envious...I will feel envious...my ambition...a walk to the local park so I can keep the fit bit satisfied (without being drenched)...if it tells me one more time its time to get up & move...it's thrashed!

Hello again
Me and my husband have been out for lunch we found a lovely pub serves home cooked food,I've had salmon and veg,Geoff had home made steak and ale pie chips and veg. Then a little treat treacle Parkin cake with custard we shared this, lovely meal. Then out for a look in shops and home again great afternoon. Kathleen
Never had Parkin cake & custard...no idea what it is...but...I so want some now after reading that GG...and I wouldn't share either:hungry::hungry::hungry:.

Morning...after a difficult evening at work...got home around 8:30pm...ate late...lit the fire..sat down for a few minutes...fell fast asleep for three hours...hauled myself off to bed...what an adventurous Friday evening...I certainly know how to live...woke to torrential rain...truculent cat (won't go out in the rain)...snoring dog (not polite to mention his farting this time of the morning...& how that reminds me very much of an old boyfriend) and a 5.5.

good morning all :)

4.6 today

There's snow on the hills across the firth when I opened the curtains this morning. Not much of a surprise because we had sleet showers yesterday. The sky is pale blue with pink tinted white clouds. It looks lovely but the wind is a proper lazy wind (as my Yorkshire gran used to say), goes through you instead of round. :)

We only found it a couple of weeks ago but first visit for hubby, went with my sister Tuesday. That good we've arranged a Christmas lunch there before Christmas in next couple weeks. K

Hi @Bubbsie. I'm in Thailand for four weeks, one of the few benefits of getting old and retiring. The avatar reminds me of the black cat called Suky we had when I was a child.
I have spent most of the day on my balcony reading. I thought the weather forecast might be wrong but it just started belting down 20 minutes ago.
I use a Garmin Vivosmart, but it doesn't seem to be uploading to pc here. Just as well as I haven't been doing much walking.
I'm thinking of getting a Fitbit Alta HR to get my heart rate too.
Enjoy your walk in the park, that's what I do every day when I'm at home. I live in London and still like it, despite all the problems.

Try the Fitbit charge 2. They are brilliant.!

I was looking at that too, but is a bit wider and I thought the Alta HR being slimmer like my Garmin, would be more comfortable to wear while sleeping.

Good morning everyone
A bit of a roller coaster today.
After lunch out but before evening meal BG was 5.2 wonderful after eating out
Tested Two hours after evening meal whopping BG of 12.7
