Morning...out for dinner with family last night...a shameful feast...TBH...don't feel shamed at all...decided to have some food freedom over the festive period...did just that after eighteen months of restricting my diet...towing the line...woke this morning to a 7.9...way over my usual...however...I know exactly why/how that happened...know how to deal with it...on the wagon this morning...hope everyone was able to relax & enjoy the festive period...off out for walkies soon with Harry...snowing fit to burst here...he loves it...great for me...no need to brush my hair...can bundle up with coat...hat...gloves & scarf...need make no effort at all with my attire at all this morning...just need to stay upright...fingers crossed.

Went to the ice hockey yesterday. Went to my cousins for a buffet last night -lots of salads things but potted dog sandwiches too ..I didn’t have any desert though ! 7.8 this morning thoroughly deserved ! Still got this interminable cold too

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas,been away from internet over Christmas,so I'm just catching up with you all.We drove to South Scotland from the Borders yesterday,fantastic journey,one to remember.........fresh snow and sunshine ......quite magical,a real winter wonderland.Step daughters new house looked amazing,considering they only moved in two weeks ago,Christmas tree and decorations and a log burning stove,perfect!!Lots of hygge(@Freema. My readings are high .....7.6 this morning....I blame the mince pie and trifle!!

Thank goodness I didn't admit to still having yesterdays mascara on... not admitting anything...but there is a distinct possibility I may have?...lord knows what would have happened then...out for forty minutes walking...nobody noticed a thing...all you need is a huge woolly hat...and a heavy snow flurry...you can get away with anything
