Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good morning all
4.3 @ 06:06AM
Oh happy days, just found out I could get 0% Carb, 80% lean mince, at the discount supermarkets (both), I never checked silly me.
What a bargain @ 2.98 per Kg
been having it for a while always good quality... mould together without breaking the strands, wack into a non stick pan , press down with a spatula...lovely burger....

Morning all 5.4 could be lower but not really bothered today. 2 of our boys and half the grandchildren here for meal so apart from the missing ones no way this could be better. Mrs P and myself were made for this.
@ally1 great run of 7s and getting lower. @JanetMcDowell lovely numbers for a lovely lady. Everyone else, have a great day.:):):)

ive never had the flu jab should i ???

If you are feeling ill often I would take the flu jab , but I myself have only taken it once , it wasn’t bad didn’t feel it at all except from the needle stich , if you usually get the flu I would also accept a flu jab

6.5 yesterday - a relection of a girls night out Friday. Too much prosecco which made me say yes to 3 spoonfuls of dessert....and a porn star martini! My first cocktail since diagnosis in December. Oh my word it was like drinking nectar. Alcohol!!! The devil's work.:arghh::banghead:;)

6.2 today. Probably still battling with that sugar as I'm usually low 5s. And had a very low carb day yesterday.

Note to self ' next night out offer to be designated driver!'

Pretty sure we all need a little "James Bay moment" now and again. As a wiser person than me put it, these are readings not tests. (Please note, absolutely none of this wisdom ever applies to myself)
