Halloumi is a hard cheese that needs to be cooked. It’s usually a Cypriot cheese in origin and has some mint in but it doesn’t have strong flavour. I cut into chip shapes, dip in beaten egg and then coat in mix of almond flour ( ground almonds) and spices they are then fried I use ghee as it gets to high temp without burning,What are halloumi chips? Ian I am so frustrated on your behalf. Unless you are coming down with something it makes no sense to me. Unless you are getting your self over stressed. Hope things improve for you. Sending hugs.Just tested - fasted for 12-13 hrs - meter wants me to believe a 7. Somewhere along the line something is very wrong - meter, strips, body, diet or all of them. I can eat Panettone and be surprised at that level. Only silver lining is I am not type 1 so no need for insulin corrections.
