2018/19 Football Season

And we lost 1-3 :( Well done Saints a deserved win :)
Well done Carlisle and FGR :)
Bad luck Tranmere :(
Well done Arsenal killing Burnley 3-1 nice result :)
Hope everyone else had a good result too :)

Next up for us a trip to Old Trafford to face the mighty or not so mighty Man Utd on Boxing day. Probably get battered there.

You weren't great in the first half but gave us some squeaky bottom moments in the second half, and I really thought you were going to get one back in extra time . Frankly Man U aren't the force they were, in my opinion, so I wouldn't write the game off yet. Good luck against them - I always love to watch Man U take a beating

Well after seeing us on MOTD I thought we were a bit unlucky in the 2nd half not to have at least equalised. But I think we are still lacking and we need some more players from the January transfer window. The gap is now 4 points between us and safety which could get wider if we don't pick up in the new year. :eek:
As for Man Utd well they seemed to play better under this new manager than they did for Murinho.

Yes, Man U looked like a different team yesterday. A bit like Saints
 
Another loss on our travels!
However we had more than enough clear cut chances to have won quite easily.
Our striker who is leading scorer and being touted to be moving in January to a championship team, was really bad, as chance after chance laid on a plate for him, went into the stands. Another huge following didn't deserve this result in a really wet Gigg Lane.

Ho hum, Morecambe at home Boxing day!
 
Ok well that's Christmas almost over and today is a footy day. Our lads make the short journey over the Pennines to Old Trafford to face Ole Gunnar Solskjær's back to winning way's Man Utd. I'd like to hope we catch them on an off day having over indulged in Christmas festivities :D Guess we shall see.

Got beat 3-1 did well to get 1 goal I suppose. Rock bottom now with the gap of 5 points off safety. Oh well see how we fare at Fulham on Saturday that will be a 6 pointer for sure.

Nice win for Carlisle 6-0 wow they went mad :singing::D

Saints play tomorrow Arsenal kick off at 5:30pm tonight.

A bloody good win!
We were clinical first half, could have won by more goals. Against a very poor Morecambe.
A bumper 7400+ crowd in!

Onwards to our second seasonal home game v Yeovil on Saturday.

Well done to Carlisle, must have been playing the local blind school!

So do I - I'm not a fan of Wet Spam . Keep believing, Johnboy, the Terriers are a better team than a number of those above you, and you have a great manager. The fat lady isn't even doing her warm-up exercises yet

I knew it was too good to last . Still, I'm feeling more confident than I was a couple of weeks ago. We march on .
 
Off we go with the final footy of 2018. Today our lads will be down at Craven Cottage to face Fulham. A 6 pointer both of us need a win.
