What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning...wow what a day yesterday set off for my first job & finished unexpectedly early...drove home luxuriating in the selfish pleasure of more coffee feet up on the sofa watching some rubbish TV with the heating on...no sooner had I pulled up at my door a phone call & straight off to London...filthy weather for driving wind screen wipers full on most of the time...left London 4pm arrived here 7pm so twice as long as usual to get home...up super early although feel as if I've had a good sleep time will tell...a short walk with 'Plumpy' this morning looking forward to that...woke to a 5.8

Greetings, @trick60 and @HarryBeau and all other Early Birds!

Good Morning and another high for me at 6.3, ah well at least I'm trying.

A day on my own as Mrs MC is on mom maintenance day, mucking out, shopping and all that stuff of life. So I have to do our mucking out and shopping but also need to practise the trickier parts on my Bass Recorder as the concert is a week today and I'm still flying by the seat of my pants.

Wish everyone well and a wonderful day.

Good morning folks, and good evening to our night owls over the pond, a 5.4 on the testing dice today. Seems to be a tad colder this morning so I've dug out an extra layer to wear today (no heating on site). Have a lovely day all.
An awkward time of year @trick60 when outdoors or have no heating, I face the same problem on my bike, too much, too little never the correct amount of clothing, hope your extra layers are just right.

4.9 this morning fish for dinner is always a good idea. Will be leaving Harrogate after breakfast and heading home. Saying goodbye to these lovely ladies for another year.
Hugs for higher than hoped for fbg @Muddy Cyclist Hope yours is better today @PenguinMum ( no blackcurrant yoghurt last night?)
What an exhausting day yesterday @HarryBeau I hate driving, especially in London so that would be my idea of utter misery, hope it’s more relaxing today.
@trick60 I’ve had the heating on for a few days now. When do you give in to it?

Your few days brought to mind a song we often perform, 'Pasttime with good company' composed by King Henry. A time spent with friends and family should always be a wonderful pleasure, glad you enjoyed yours.

Good morning everyone and especially those who survived this years re-enactments of the Battle of Seelow Heights last night.

The wonder wheel of festive stuffed and roasted squashes and spiced red cabbage issued a quite pleasant asant and very polite 5.4 this am

There was, and probably still is if you want a bit, a nip in the air this morning as I coaxed the garden and then the recycling bin out to their station. A couple of boards helps - oh, hang on, that’s pigs.

During the early evening action yesterday (some kids get over excited when faced with a fist full of bangers and a lighter), Mrs Miggins declared the 5th of November first fire night for the wood burner (other fuels may be used apart from chip pan oil). Needless to say that the wood pile has not been checked and we will soon have to hunt down some kiln dried logs. Lots of smokeless coal though but that’s for the open fire in the front room.

Have a great day if you can, wood chopping season is upon us, sharpen your axe.

Currently attempting to sync my iPhone... thought I might have a try before I have to accept defeat & call in my expert (neighbour Olivia) lord know where this will take me or how it will affect my mental well being but at least I am having a go!

Morning good people all. 'Tis the season for base layers and wood burners but unlike @dunelm I have no quiet peasants in my meter just a lacklustre 5.5. I did manage to charm a 3.9 out of the meter after evening meal last night and stay at 4.1 by bedtime. Not feeling any love for the efficacy of diet and exercise on bg control (or weight) but resting pulse and sleeping working. Trouble is focus here is the war on T2. @trick60 stay warm on site; @DJC3 reunion sounds like a fillip for the soul; @Krystyna23040 glad you are back in the groove. Leonard (of Limoges) the Hermit to be remembered today.

Morning All. 6.5 this morning so not happy. I need to dial back on quantities. The colder weather makes me eat more I think.
@DJC3 glad you have had a lovely time and great fbg after fish. Dennis will be very excited to have you back. @HarryBeau take care out n he roads with the crazy busy schedule and hope you soon get a sofa day.
Have a great Wednesday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.

good morning all :)

4.7 today

it's a frosty, misty morning today so I'm glad we got most of our shopping and stuff done yesterday when the sun was out :)

Probably a quiet day today with lunch across at mum's, soup is already made, spicy chicken and veg. ;)

Hope your day treats you kindly :)

edit @Muddy Cyclist that's a blast from the past, I haven't sung 'Pastime With Good Company' since my (misspent) youth :joyful:

Something wrong there @OldButBold bin days Thursday :joyful:

Schrodinger's bin states it can be both Thursday and Wednesday until observed, and as binmen belong in the 'spooky universe' of quantum detachment I do not query their appearance :)

Edit - I mistakenly translated Thursday to Tuesday, timey wimey wibbly wobbly stuff
