Hi, hospital appointment went fairly quickly, a bit uncomfortable but all done now ( If I ever get reincarnated................. I am coming back as a man !!! )
BG's have been quite high, but hoping they will come down slowly with more Insulin.
Going on the last school run as a casual Escort very soon.
I’m going to come back as a cat - both of mine are curled up in their baskets asleep by the radiator

That’s the thing low glycemic just means you have more time to respond, if you can respond in the first place. We can’t.

But I just had s bowl yesterday with soy milk and lots of cinnamon and did my normal half a dose a half hour before and it worked great.

Yippee! A variable lunch for Young Vampire meant extra maths for me, (normally VP has unvarying meals, but today had variations to it, for complex reasons) and for the first time, there was trust that I knew what I was talking about and no arguing about the dose I dialled up. I also love that the Young Vampire's parents trust what I do as well, and as long as we've explained what we've done, and recorded it all, they are happy. In fact, they're loving the fact that the VP's food horizons are being expanded.

For the new to the thread; Young Vampire is one of my students with complex needs, (T1 being only one of the complexities of the Young Vampire's life,) and we spend a lot of my working days together. Young Vampire? Yeah, a lot of finger-licking happens after the extraction of blood once the test is done no matter how often I dutifully profer a tissue for the mopping up thereof.

@Hopeful34 thank you it is time i changed my way's i'm already thinking i shouldn't of made that appointment i'm nervous already
You'll be fine! Even if the appointment doesn't work out well, you'll be in exactly the same place as before. So either you win something or you don't lose anything except an hour of your time!
When is your appointment?

Please don't. Throwing up won't be helping in enjoying your evening at all!

Have you though about how it would be fine to tell them you feel real messed up but have a hard time talking about it so you'd rather not? It's not a problem if you don't feel comfortable enough to tell everything that goes through your head, that's quite normal.

It may be of help if you look back through your posts on here and screenshot the ones that are relevant to show your HCP. That way you won't need to explain in words to their face but it would still explain a lot.

It won't be nearly as bad as your fears right now! Promise!

@Antje77 i managed to tell the nurse that took my blood that last week i felt like ending it all and told her how you guys have basically saved me i asked her not to do anything about it but she must of made a note because it usually takes a week to get an appointment (this website will hopefully get a bit more popular i told the pharmacy spirit health and the nurse that took my blood about this site and you guys and how supportive caring and awesome you all are :) and they both said they would add it to there support area);)

Hello friends, I’m reporting back that my BG is finally back in single figures. It was a horrible morning and afternoon. So far sensor is giving funky readings but I’ll give it a chance. I’m falling asleep but I have to calibrate my sensor at 00:36

i was surprised i even told her considering i have confidence issues
Sounds like she's a good'un if she managed to make you tell more than you're comfortable with, that's what the best of them do! Being pretty is nice too. Way more easy to open up to a pretty person than to an ugly old toad (no offence to toads, I quite like them and always seem to rescue them from precarious situations!)
