What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning All. 6.3 disappointing!
@DJC3 glad you are back safe and sound. Hope all was ok at home, I bet you and Dennis were excited to see each other. @gennepher that looks like a stormy scene to my untrained eye. @HarryBeau and @karen8967 good luck with your medical appointmens. @Ryhia congrats on your fantastic FBG. @dunelm enjoy your daughter’s birthday meal and hope the menu is helpful. @Muddy Cyclist take care out there today on the ice. @SaskiaKC sweet dreams of comfy mattresses!
Have a good Tuesday everyone. Chilly, wrap up warm. Stay well, stay safe.

@jjraak and @SaskiaKC Archie has recovered really well. No sickness yesterday so he had a small dinner and was alright overnight. Has had breakfast this morning and a short walk. He was a little slow but OK.

He is now asleep in the conservatory by the radiator in the sun.. Hopefully Poppy won't get it.

It was really cold outside with very strong gusts of wind. So pleased to be back in the warm.

I'm with you guys on wanting to keep limbs, eyesight, kidneys etc. Very sceptical about low carbs for me though. My results just seem to be the same as any other drastic diet . The effect on my bg is an embarrassment. You on the other hand are at the opposite end of the spectrum. Seems to support N=1 as about all we can really say.
Actually I think that your blood sugars are consistently better than mine. I was 5.7 this morning. Have got stuck in the high 5s at the moment for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Good Morning and a 6 today.

A bright and crisp day, calm with a sprinkling of white stuff on north facing slopes. To bike ride or not? May cycle too the clinic to find our why they have not been in touch regarding my HbA1c blood test.

@dunelm happy daughters birthday, enjoy.

@karen8967 hope all goes well with the consultant.

@gennepher sprimg/Autumn/height of summer all captured. I see one of those hillside wind bent trees, I know what you mean about finished or not, look forward to seeing what you decide.

Find time in your busy days to reflect on all that's important. Take care.
Thanks muddy cyclist x

Morning all. 5.8 this morning.
A quick scan of the most recent posts leads me to send good luck wishes to @karen8967 and @HarryBeau for appointments today. I missed kittengate, sounds intriguing I must look back.
Have a great meal out with the family @dunelm 2 or even 3 starters, tapas style sounds like a good plan
Thanks DJC3 X

"..Hong Kong authorities evacuated a building in the middle of the night after two people got sick in the same building. Local teams believe that the virus spread through a bathroom pipe that was not sealed properly and carried it to different apartment bathrooms. Of those people who were evacuated, four are now sick..."

Telegraph blog page.
Not sure how true, be looking for that to come out in the next day or so.

As you're following the news on the Corona virus I thought I'd give you these links (i was bored ;)). It's all circumstantial and I make no inference from it other than "blimey, that's odd"

Thanks DJC INR too high again back there in two weeks...kittengate was a nightmare a toilet roll stolen & shredded into hundreds of small pieces...covered the rug...in the kitchen...up the stairs...it was a nightmare to clear up took hours...just back with the shopping got them some chews for their little (very sharp) teeth...hoping they will stick to chewing those...just so you don't have to look back here in kittengate in one room

It's a dry old read, so I'll try an do it justice later,, but the 3rd link and the lab, I knew about.
Like you say.. a funny old world

Wonder if Ms Jovovich is free.....?

May have to get on Netflix and get back to my RE Studies... Think we got the game as well on a console somewhere, .. May be helpful on the run to PM's house ..

On our way home from Visiting MIL drove through a snowstorm past a windmill at Upper Longdon, they are not all in Norfolk, and the sun was just setting so that's what inspired today's painting, watercolour between A5 and A4 size. Brushes used Large and Rigger, the spray bottle was used to keep the sky damp, its water not cleaner. Paints in pans not tubes. Time taken 20 mins whilst dinner was being prepared, yes by me so lots of running backwards and forwards, even dipped a paint brush in my glass of wine in the confusion and probably the reason the windmill is a bit cockeyed.

Absolutely love the artwork. Hug for difficult day with MIL and don't worry about A1c she'll be right. It's only me that can't do LCHF right and I'm just concentrating on my weight and getting cardboard city right ATM 2 things I can deal with and understand the rules. . Personally,, I would offer you the advice to concentrate on your art, music and muddy cycling as you can deal with.

My meter and lab work ain't even on the same continent whereas yours share similar genes. Your current run of upper 5s will soon pass. You have a proven record of success vs the tale of woe that is my experience. Coffee and Montezumas aand you'll be good

Good morning/evening folks, a stonking 6.5 on the dice, thanks for the kind words after my Hba1c results, without all your advice, support and general good humoured banter this T2 malarkey would be a far more miserable place.
Have a lovely day all.
Support and advice is one thing but all the hard yards were yours alone young sir - no doubt the fragrant Mrs T played a major part
