What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Well currently there are orange, salmon pink, magenta, bright red and fuchsia ones in flower in the Sun Room - going a bit stringy so time to take cuttings

Apologies not a very good snap.
We seem to have a garden full of different Hardy Geraniums, add lots of deep blues and purples this time of year. Lovely pic, get some paper and crayons and have ago, just get quick marks on paper not the detail, capture the essence.

Just made it before the very fine drizzle started...
It is so fine you can hardly feel it, but all the dried up leaves are springing back into life...
This is out of my head...took about an hour and a half...I was thinking of the Gower Peninsula, the secluded beaches from my younger days, I lived in Swansea at one point. A lot of walking and climbing to get to these beaches...some crazy times...

Coffee in the conservatory and the gentle sound of rain on glass, good morning world :)
The simple pleasures, we are doing the same, notice my mug, usually only drink coffee from cup but found this mug in cupboard, on the other side it says NO DEER and so just have to move it from left to right hand to answer Mrs MC.

That is great @SlimLizzy

I hope you are enjoying the job you decided to do :)

A cuppa first...

So far no jobs done or coffee drunk. Have been trying to access supermarket special offers leaflet sent to my phone. Wanting to see if potting compost is mentioned. There are so many adverts it's impossible to read. Tried getting it on laptop. Had to recreate password to get into email. Then the item I want is simply not there. So ninety minutes wasted. Time for lunch.

Very frustrating. Hugs x

Good pastel again, like the depth and feeling of height you have given to the cliff, also the good bold colours, great art.

This might be the third in my series of three local English Vista Watercolours, not sure it captured the distance, might try this one again. It's a track I venture on weekly, the west edge of Cannock Chase looking across Staffordshire to the Wrekin in Shropshire. I feel it needs more space between foreground and the horizon, hmmm?

A4 Watercolour 90 minutes.

I think it captures the distance nicely. It works on both my tiny phone screen and my tablet screen (much bigger), whereas my pastels go too intense on the small phone screen. Your watercolours work better on both size screens....

If you do decide to do it again, I would like to see what it is that you think would work better with more space between foreground and horizon as you say....

it is interesting to see how other painters think about their work....

A really good day. A job I had been putting off since the lockdown was to set up remote working for my friend who does the bookkeeping for me. I had been putting it off because my friend has an ipad and I have never used one but I needed to sort it because end of year accounts are looming.

The Dummies site was absolutely brilliant - such clear step by step instructions. It truly was computing for dummies.

That sounds brilliant @Krystyna23040
Well done!

I have a friend who wants me to make some face masks.

Why can't she make them herself? She can sew.

Because she has always refused to have an internet or computer and has the most basic of mobiles, so she can't Google. And didn't listen to me in January when I said she needed to get face masks and disposable gloves. No that won't happen here, she said...

So the first job on my To do list today is look at You Tube and work out face masks...

My Done list when I look in later might be very short this morning. I might need to change the title to Frustration List...

Strewth, up before the binmen so I'm gazing at the rain falling on the garbage and a 6.1 to boot ;)

Today I aim to continue the role of Chillaxer and the rain, as everything else, shall be as water off a ducks back. Have fun :)

So much for me figuring out and doing masks for my friend....
I have another problem...
No water coming out of my taps...
And I am thinking Oh S***
But then I urgently needed to...
Fortunately in my garage is a commode...
Just rooted it out...put it out in the fresh air of my not overlooked garden, for which I am grateful...

I might need to dig a hole in the garden later today...

But for now, I need to get dressed, and go foraging in the shops for water...

Good morning or in your case @gennepher not at all good morning - hope it can be sorted fast. 5.2 for me @ 4.45 - new strips came by courier yesterday - originals still in transit 2 weeks on. Bg not a problem there but won't move the chains for A1c at that level. Recently I have rediscovered a pattern of eating and some menus - coffee and meat are back and enjoyable (pork chops less so) - which give me more variety after maybe 2 years of almost hating this WOE. Not analysing all my food each day has helped. Salad with avocado and my vinaigrette is still central Also going back to the start of this in 2015 before losing my way on here has been very helpful (Cf N=1; Jess Glynne, Thursday). Part 2 of reboot in progress. Rejigging the original plan for this house until lockdown and builder's shielding end and give me a gym where I need it. Finally re-building this was/is yesterday's done for us @Krystyna23040 . Exercise bike in another bedroom with sky set up, rowing machine plus free weights with that machine - Alexa with playlists sorted. Really liked the artwork @Muddy Cyclist . Have a great, safe day folks - one way or another water features prominently.

I did have a thought after reading your post. Could you perhaps write out the instructions for making facemasks (or print if you have a printer) and send them to her rather than make them for her as she is perfectly capable of sewing them herself. You are still being a good friend.
