Dinner. Bigger than it looks. Brunch was smoked salmon and cream cheese. A bit too much Moser Roth 85% during the day.
ok not recommending this but years ago i had a stomach bug that wouldn't shift did the whole no dairy (now i think debunked) and fasting etc etc. Finally out with my mum at a pub, landlord prescribed port and brandy (mum prone to oversharing!). fixed. probably coincidence but i'll never knowStomach very sore and nauseous again

As usual, your meat looks fabulous. Was it in the AF?
I've just ordered some lamb's hearts, ox cheeks and lamb neck from my butcher. In for some slow cooking over the weekend and next week.

Legs & sinuses which is causing mild breathlessness. Thankfully it's not lasting now but the BGs take a few days to revert. I got a new one though. Upper arms were agony but paracetamol took care of that until it disappeared. I've discovered it's better just to do little things and build up gradually even if I do feel OK.This looks great thank you. I did search the BBC good food app as I’ve found they are usually reliable recipes and often easily low carbed. Didn’t see this one though.
Sorry to hear you’ve been off again. Is it your legs?

today for supper spiralized courgette and pesto. my friend gave me the spiralizer as a present I should have got one ages ago, it's great.
This recipe is ace..if only Mr PM liked lamb as much as I do!
Ewwww I don't like rats either. Getting rid of rats and/or deterring them was a constant battle when I used to keep the poultry.
We've lived here 20 years and in that time I've known five (smallish) dogs be killed by adders and quite a few bigger dogs that have been bitten so its always been a worry that one of mine might be bitten while out on a walk. I understand the anti venom is quite effective but the nearest vet that carries it is about 15 miles away and the dog would be in dreadful pain until it has the anti venom and recovery isn't quick. They are supposed to be timid but at this time of the year they lie in coils on paths basking in the sun or rest in undergrowth and will bite if a nosey dog startles them.
Because of the adders my husband gets up to walk the dogs at about 4am (when they are less active) then comes back to bed for another few hours sleep. It sounds mad but he prefers to do that than take the risk.

This has really shocked me. I’d never thought of snakes when I take Dennis out. I’m usually scanning the ground and undergrowth for rotting rodent corpses which attract him like a magnet, but now I’ll have to add adders to the scanning. Crikey! ( I’m not getting up at 4am though)
Fatigue is one of the continuing themes in the long term group I found on Facebook. There's over 7000 of them and almost all are still affected even 18 & 19 weeks on. It was interesting to note that the majority also fell ill in March - pre lockdown. It was also there that I noticed attempting to do things too quickly resulted in another relapse. More reassuring though is members do fully recover and leave the group.Soup for breakfast after FBG of 5.8 - that's good for me but by the time I got to breakfast, it was 8.8. Currently 9.5. And worse, it may be too many veg. I'm beginning to feel it.
Might have 3 meals today. If so, lunch will be scrambled eggs and dinner will be mushrooms with some bacon. Unfortunately my v shopper bought smoked streaky bacon this week and smoked is something I don't usually like (except fish) but I'll make something of it to get it used up.
I wonder if my continuing fatigue is something to do with covid still hanging on, or if it is something else that needs to be dealt with. I still seem to be spending about 6 hours a night asleep and another 4 or so during the day.

I am. It gets very trying. The one bit of relief is the relapses are getting shorter. I must admit though there have been days I could just sit down and cry. Can’t believe how long this has been going on - you must be exhausted with all the relapsing.
