Ouch for that 14, but sorry I had a slight chuckle for the battered appendix, I can see the whole episode unfurling before my eyes. However I truly hope the damage is not serious and nobody was in hearing distance. :)

I’m surprised you didn’t hear me as you are ‘only’ on the other side of the city. No lasting damage and I shall do a quick cut of the lawns in a while :)

The pain has gone, good old fashioned arnica and some witch hazel sorted it out.
So pleased to hear that the pain is gone.
I agree that you cannot beat Arnica for an injury. I started using it 15 years ago after a RTA involving a White Van when I was riding my bicycle. After the accident we were on holiday in the Loire Valley and I needed painkillers so went to a French Pharmacy. When I requested painkillers the Pharmacist said that Arnica was much more effective - and he was right, it was,

Afternoon...just back from the anti-coagulant clinic with the perfect INR result at last!...surprised after the debacle in A+E but two weeks grace between the next appointments...hoping I can build that up to a month or six weeks that would be fantastic...still no covid results yet...sunny here looks like it's going to be a beautiful day...good drive there & back...woke to a 6.8...keep safe everyone.

Woke early 5.30ish for bathroom call. Didn't manage to go straight back to sleep and could feel the DP happening before I did drift off.
Hour after breakfast was 6.2.

Fbg 6.1

My daily painting challenge was to use the Procreate quick sketch I did a couple of days ago. And to create a gentle misty ethereal scene.

Did that happen? No. Because between the layers I put an all black layer, and used the rubber tool on the painting above. I am having fun...

So, instead here is a more dramatic painting...

Looks like a vision of a near death experience and one should keep running for the light! :)

Never had so many bites and still have the marks 6 weeks later they itched for weeks
The duchess got bitten a few years ago hanging out the clothes.
It lasted a few months.

I reckon if I could see a cleg on a cow's backside the other side of the Solway, that would be the birding scope I should buy!

BTW gennepher,
It is the shortage of GP's in particular areas that led to your problem.

When proceedings are being nurse led there is a number available for them to refer to a doctor.
Some doctors do not consider it safe practice.
D.

I most certainly do not consider it a safe practice from my experience with it. It went wrong, she didn't have the physical back up of a doctor on site, she went to pieces. I cannot forget her collapsing on the floor hyperventilating @lindisfel As well as other aspects of it that I cannot forget.

I am currently, or rather a friend is for me, because it has stressed me too much, writing several letters (emails) for me, which are going to various places tomorrow. I am awaiting the last and final drafts (hopefully) for my perusal either tonight or in the morning.

Today is proving to be less stressful than yesterday. I mentioned in the first class today that I was having problems reading the register and lesson plan through my face shield. A class member said that it might help if I took the protective plastic layer off. It definitely did.

The class thought it was hilarious but apparently I was not the only person this had happened to.

Perhaps a letter to your MP may help?
The Conservatives promised 24/7 GP cover,
it was just words! It never was possible with the funding for the last decade
